Excellent hostel. Comfy capsules, hot showers, washing machine (costs to use but I'm not sure how much), excellent value. Easy to get to from train stations as long as you use a bus (use baidu maps 百度地图 to find routes and I swapped a stack of 1 yuan notes to pay for the buses as the Alipay bus card doesnt work for foreigners in Datong). The location is difficult to find but if you get to the rough location then locals are very happy to point you the right direction. You then text the owner who remotely let's you in.

The two bosses are very welcoming and kind-hearted. The room is very clean and the quilt covers are all made of pure cotton. It feels like home. Many people stayed here but they left in a hurry. I will stay in this youth hostel again when I come to Pingyao to have fun next time. The location is easy to find. There is the bus station and the north gate of the ancient city right outside the door. It is also convenient for eating. It is safe to stay here when traveling alone. It feels like home!

The youth hostel is very close to Ximen! Looking in from outside the alley, you can see the house number at a glance. It was transformed from a fairly typical ancient dwelling, so it has a tile roof, a door curtain, an earthen bed and a courtyard. The courtyard is a public area. When appropriate, everyone will sit in the courtyard and talk and laugh! Although the toilet and bathroom are integrated and a bit small, normal water use is no problem; new quilt covers, pillowcases and mattresses, as well as toiletries will be given when you check in; drinking hot water, hair dryers and laundry detergent are in the store room. The boss is mainly a young guy who is very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He is very talkative and plays video games all the time! I also have a paparazzi named ”Guapi” who has a pretty good temper! I also met an older brother from BUAA, and we visited scenic spots and ate together. This is the charm of youth hostels! I returned home from Pingyao, but the feeling of loss still lingers. I hope I can meet you all next time! I also hope everyone is safe and well!

You need to change shoes when you enter the door, and the shoe cabinet is also disinfected. The shoes that have been worn for several days have been saved! Environment: Very clean, small space is private. And the bathroom has a door, very friendly to southerners. And there is a small bar, a lot of drinks, you can drink it if you want! very convenient. Facilities: There is a self-service washing machine and a hair dryer. The details were found, all of them were Xiaomi. Dark poke added a point! It is always a very satisfying stay experience!

The boss is very good, very warm-hearted, the location is easy to find, nearby eating and shopping, the traffic is very convenient. I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and borrowed a bicycle from the boss. I rode around the lake and circled the lake for more than 30 kilometers. Facilities: The air conditioner in the store is broken, there is an electric fan, you can blow the hair. I am not very afraid of heat and feel good. Location: The location is better, close to Shanxi Museum, Bronze Museum and other attractions, about 30 minutes by bus. There are restaurants such as sheep mowing, Xiaolongbao shop, good women's help and other restaurants near the Youth Hostel, and it is convenient to eat.
