Popular Zhangjiajie 4-star Hotels

The service very good. The housekeeping staff who brings us the snack every night during our stay, (A Dan) is very nice & friendly 😊 we loved our stay here will definitely stay here again when we visit Zhangjiajie. Ayi A Dan is very warm and kind, she welcomes us with love and provides us with nice snacks at night. The tour service advisor also provides good service for our trip. The tour guide was kind and outgoing, really friendly to our family and provides us with interesting facts and information about the surrounding areas we visit. The hotel room was very exquisite as the room was very clean and was comforting. The bed sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean with great compliments as well as the cupboards having more condiments which help the experience a lot. Overall, the room was great with comforting condiments and was very clean towards customers and that the laundry room was free which helped us a lot during our stay at the hotel.

I love the hotel location which is at a quiet neighbourhood, 10 mins walk to the main food street and 15 mins leisure walk to the east gate of forest park. The receptionist was helpful to book the attraction tickets at discounted price and provided all the necessary information. I had an upgraded room which was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the stream. Breakfast was above average, enough to keep us filling. Highly recommended.

Would recommend this place. This place is great value for money. Good location if you want somewhere calm and tranquil; having travelled around China to the big cities, I needed this more secluded stay. I could not fault the service. I arrived early and they offered me breakfast which was so lovely of them. The food is more home style cooking, simple but decent. The staff were incredibly helpful. I had a fever on my first night and they took good care of me. Kevin especially was very hospitable. Thank you!

The hotel is next to the start of the cableway for the Tianmen mountain. Staff is great, the rooms are good (only negative note is the carpet, that is a bit dirty due to many years and also there is some paper on the walls that is not super clean but ok, nothing major). Air conditioning works great, breakfast is good and the service also (room is made every day!). We strongly suggest this place and we will for sure come back

Heaven! This hotel is perfection! Nestled in the mountains you can be at one with nature here and relax in the most comfortable surroundings. The hotel is an old village that has transformed into an amazing rustic high end hotel. It is situated very near to the Zhangjiajie scenic park entrances such as Avatar Mountains. The rooms/villas are spacious, clean and have everything you could want. There was a turn down service with snacks provided and they set up the projector ready for when you arrive back from a wonderful day of sightseeing. The warm bath on the balcony really helped to relax us too. The views at this hotel are breathtaking! The most beautiful vistas that you can see from the rooms, balconies and the infinity pool (1 of 2 pools they have there). The restaurant was impressive, all the food is freshly cooked and many of the items are grown at the hotel (see the rice paddies and vegetables growing in the photos). There was a lot of choice of food and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant also has some wine and spirits to enjoy with your meal or to sip on a gin and tonic at the infinity pool just outside to watch the sun set. Breakfast was amazing, again plenty of choice and real coffee too. There is also a bar on site if you wish to sing karaoke with beers and friends once the sun has set. The most outstanding aspect of this hotel for us was the service. Rain, the (reception) manager was incredible, nothing was too much trouble for him. He called us the day before to arrange pick up and he speaks perfect English. Throughout the stay he organised and helped with everything we needed, he really did go above and beyond, thank you so much Rain to you and all of your staff who work so hard. This hotel was definitely great value for the price, the location and aspect of the hotel, also perfect. We cannot wait to come back again, maybe winter next time to see the snowy mountains and to sit by the fires in the rooms. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, 110%! The two men who work at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast soup was delicious! A must try. The room was a good size and was comfortable, however it could have done with so thorough cleaning. The pool was a great way to wind down after a long day of walking in the heat!! All in all a lovely stay.

This stay was a great experience. The homestay has its own courtyard, which is very comfortable and beautiful! ! ! The room is very clean, the layout of the room is very nice, the room is very soundproof and quiet. Fruits were prepared as soon as we arrived at the homestay, and the housekeeper's service was great! ! , the housekeeper was very enthusiastic, and arranged a pick-up for us, saving a lot of time, and recommended us a tour route. If you have any questions, tell the housekeeper, and he will help us solve them quickly. And this homestay is very good for taking photos. Very satisfied, must praise!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I traveled as a solo female on a last-minute whim with little to no Chinese language skills. Not only was I greeted warmly, but the staff were exceptionally nice. They helped me book a day trip to Zhangjiajie, including transport. They made a great effort in solving my problems and ensuring I was okay. They even made sure I ate and helped me with ordering food, accommodating my dietary requirements by translating and selecting suitable meals. The room was beautiful and spacious. I loved how everything was automatic, including the curtains. They even had one of those bidet/automatic toilets. The hotel is super close to Tianmen Mountain, allowing me to visit early in the morning and still have time to go to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge. It is also close to the 72 Wonders Tower (72 Qilou). On my first night, I couldn’t figure out how to get Didi working, and one of the staff booked it for me. I highly recommend this hotel—10/10!

The hotel is close to the east gate of Wulingyuan and historic interest area. It’s very convenient to start your trip from here. It’s a 10min walk from the bus station that takes you to the Grand Canyon and zhangjiajie. The streets with the shops are 1-2km walking. They have many choices for breakfast. Different vegetables, noodles, bread, eggs, fruit etc. Even cornflakes and toast if you only like western food. They change it a bit everyday which is nice. The room was good and they cleaned it every day. Only underneath the bed it was dusty. The room had automatically opening curtains and airco. I would recommend this hotel. The staff does not speak English so if you don’t speak a little Chinese it might be a little inconvenient.

(Foreigners) The hotel is very close to the Tianmenshan cableway station (3 minutes walk), rooms are spacious, clean and new. Awesome (!!) and friendly receptionists who were willing to assist with anything and everything. Breakfast is very good and has many options. Very recommended!
