"We went here especially to see the painted dogs (African wild dogs) and we were lucky to see them on our first game drive, we also got to see a great number of lions , also elephants, and cheetahs and other animals and birds, our guide Maria was exceptional, this was our 5th safari and would say she was one of the best guides we have had. Accommodation was excellent, large comfy bed, inside and outside showers, hot tub and overlooking the water hole, we saw impala, hyena and jackel from our balcony. Food was excellen, high tea not to be missed, quality was exceptional. Staff great, wonderful stay Would certainly recommend and visit again"

The manager, Sasha, the staff - particularly Shaddy, Frans, Patrick and Keo were amazing. The food, the drinks, the entire atmosphere was so welcoming. The decor at the lodge is next level beautiful. So stylish and in keeping with Africa - the photos don’t do it justice. Andrew, our game driver was just brilliant. Open, warm, knowledgeable and so clever with finding all of the animals we wanted to see. He went out of his way to show us so much and his driving was brilliant. We travelled as a family of 4, our sons being 14 and 18, and can say it was the best holiday of our lives. We stayed in the family room which was incredible. "The experience we had for our 4-night stay at Buffalo Ridge Safari lodge way exceeded my expectations - we went as a multigenerational family of 10, and every one of us had the time of our lives. The rooms are spacious & luxurious (where did you get those mattresses from? 😍), the food & meals were outstanding (thank you for the attention to my moms allergies, this was a game-changer for all of us to know that we didn’t need to worry about that) and the game drives with Jo were fun, beautiful, interesting and with excellent sightings on every drive. The lodge itself is magnificent, stunning interior design, all overlooking the park and a lovely waterhole with elephants from the dining area. Boma dinner was a highlight.
