"The rooms were a bit old, but the hot springs were decent, and the price was good. The breakfast and dinner buffets were also quite nice. There's a late-night bar, but we don't drink so we couldn't really enjoy it. It would have been even better if it stayed open until 11 PM."

"Transportation: easiest with a 50-min taxi ride from Sendai airport unless int’l traveler wants to transfer via trains/buses. Nearest bus stop/little township is 遠刈田温泉 (13-min by foot to the Inn). Key feature is open air onsens in forestry — this is why I chose to stay. Delightful breakfast and dinner (during dinner, there are all-inclusive drinks menu + additional charge ones). I enjoyed the 2nd night’s beef/daikon pot in particular. There are hearth side afternoon refreshment, happy hour beer, post-dinner snack that you will be kept fed warmly. The aircon in Buna room would blow directly on the head so the fan blade should be adjusted. Staff English speaking capability varies but they made every effort in solving problems. Little hiccup after checking out that the bus time table the Inn indicated was outdated, but I still managed to change my route in the fly, which is the beauty traveling in Japan."

"My wife and I stayed in the villa for two nights. Overall, the atmosphere was great and we were able to experience something out of the ordinary. The villa's open-air bath, filled with natural hot spring water, is charmingly carved out of a large rock. It was spacious enough to stretch out and enjoy a luxurious stay. The washing area was separated by a door, making it easy to stay warm, and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness, even in the cold season. And above all, since our room had its own open-air bath, being able to use it whenever I wanted felt incredibly luxurious. For dinner, we chose the yakiniku plan, which included a Zao beef platter, which we enjoyed grilling over charcoal to perfection. The breakfast menu was also very varied and satisfying. I ended up overeating. This is definitely the perfect inn for an extraordinary experience. Thank you for the wonderful memories."

"I heard that day trip bathing is also popular, so I made a reservation looking forward to the bath. Unfortunately, the stones in the open-air bath are thickly brown and lukewarm, and the stones inside are green algae? moss? It was the first time I had an inn. Of course, the hot water was also brown and muddy, and it was not easy to take a step, but it was uncomfortable and I pulled it up immediately. The bathtub in the large communal bath inside is also slimy, and I think it is better to stop the day trip. There was a small bath that only guests could use, but unfortunately, the open-air bath was disappointing because there was no flow of hot water, probably because only the washroom was cleaned."

"Although the reception staff at Zao no Mori Club didn't understand much English, they were sincere and polite and it wasn't difficult to communicate with them. The hotel is located in the mountains with a very quiet and beautiful environment. However, after taking a bus from Sendai Station to Togatta Onsen Station, there were no taxis in the town because it was a small town and it was Saturday. Later, a Japanese man with a ram led the way. He led a group of 8 of us and pushed the luggage boxes across the mountain and walked for about 45 minutes to get to the hotel. If the hotel could rearrange a toll car to pick us up from Sendai Station, we would definitely be happy to visit again."

"I stayed here for 2 nights ３ days with the flow of staying here using Zao Eboshi Ski Resort. The board rental shop is close, the convenience store is close, and I am satisfied. The rice is not bad. It may not be the best. The serving staff was Bangladeshi and worked hard. The hot spring was the best because the temperature was exquisitely right at night, but in the morning, the open-air bath was too hot to enter. I think it was about 44 〜 45 degrees.
