"As we had no plan, we made a last-minute trip from Baoshan to Nuodeng. We read the reviews and booked a room temporarily. It was right after the Spring Festival holiday. The price was 149, which was quite cost-effective. We arrived after dark. We climbed up the hill with our kids and bags. We couldn't see the signs and the navigation was wrong. We took the wrong road. Fortunately, the villagers were very enthusiastic and helped to contact the boss to pick us up. They cooked hot meals for us and we ate in the main room. It really felt like home. Before leaving the next day, my brother took us to visit the family museum. They were a very friendly family. Other rooms had better window views and you could see the ancient village."

"This Yunshang Four Seasons Hotel in Yunlong County, Dali is really nice. As soon as I entered the lobby, the girl at the front desk called out my last name directly. I was a little surprised. She also upgraded my room, which made me feel flattered. When I asked her about the nearby fruit store, she enthusiastically introduced Tiantian Supermarket, which solved the problem. If there was not enough water to drink, it was no problem to add two more bottles. This girl had a good service attitude and was skilled in her business, which deserves praise. The rooms in this hotel are also very large, and the overall feeling is clean and tidy, very comfortable; the bedding is also good; the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the water volume, water pressure, and water temperature are also very good; parking is also convenient; Unfortunately, the breakfast in this restaurant is too simple. I really can't praise it. The hotel industry today is in the stage of stock game. The quality of breakfast is greatly related to the quality of guest experience and can help increase room prices. "I found this highly rated inn on Ctrip and booked it with the intention of giving it a try. It was really surprising to find such an elegant inn in Nuodeng Ancient Village, Yunlong County, Dali, a relatively niche tourist destination. The owner of the inn, Xiao Huang, is a very careful and gentle girl. She speaks in an organized manner and is not impatient. I didn’t know how to get to the inn with my heavy luggage. When I called her, she patiently told me how to download a Yunnan travel reservation. In carpooling, he explained clearly how to get the puller to pick me up and carry my luggage to the inn. Especially after arriving, she turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance to cool down and relieve her fatigue. The room is also clean, refreshing, and a bit artistic. After eating delicious ham and egg fried rice, we walked around and took a good nap until eight in the morning. The village is very quiet at night, except for the occasional meowing of cats."

"This is a homestay that surprised and touched us. You can book it with confidence. It will definitely be worth the trip. Facilities: This homestay was newly opened this year. The facilities are very good. The whole house is smart. The owner has incorporated local flavor into the decoration design. The furniture and decoration are all solid wood, without any smell. It can be seen that a lot of effort has been put in; Hygiene: The hygiene is great! It is rare for a homestay in the mountains to be so clean. Both inside and outside the house are very refreshing; Environment: The homestay is very high in the village. The mountain scenery is unobstructed and the view is very good. There is a beautiful garden in the small yard, colorful flowers, and a very smart small pond. In the morning, a beam of light shines on the water, and the fish and plants are very energetic; Service: The service is impeccable! The owner and his father run the B&B together. They helped us carry our luggage. They were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They were the most humane of all the B&Bs we stayed in. The dishes cooked by Huzige (the owner's father) are amazing. If you have a chance, you must try them. They are fried with their own ham (authentic Nuodeng ham). They are ridiculously fragrant. The two of us were very full and satisfied. The owner also told us about the history of the village and various interesting things that happened in his family. It was very interesting. You can learn a lot of different knowledge by chatting with them. Unexpected gain: their family has their own Nuodeng ham, which has been made for more than ten years. You can tell from the quality of that dish that it is very good. We also bought one. For such a scarce output, the price is very reasonable! Talking about pet owners: We brought two big dogs. This place is truly pet-friendly. The owners love dogs very much. The dogs are also very happy here. They took a walk in the mountains with us and smelled many smells they had never smelled before; We don’t let dogs get on the bed outside, and we also lay out disposable sheets. When you encounter a pet-friendly homestay, you must understand each other, keep an eye on the dogs, don’t chew or urinate on the furniture, and don’t cause trouble for others; The day I stayed in Nuodeng was very fulfilling. My inn underwent overall renovation of water, electricity, and rooms in August 2024. The inn is located on the mountainside of Nuodeng Village. In order to get into the village, guests need to go through a parking lot at the foot of the mountain (the parking lot is public and free). After parking, please walk up to Eastern side of Daqingshu (a big tree next to the main square of the village), which takes around 15 minutes (the inn is located around 20 meters above Daqingshu). The straight-line distance from the parking lot is only around 300 meters, but it is still a bit tiring to walk up as the whole village is located on a mountain. Be careful while walking up in the evening. The village has dim street lights. I hope everyone has a wonderful time in Nuodeng！
