Hot spring Hotels in Yufu

If you want to take a hot spring bath, the hot spring is definitely worth it. The hotel has several indoor and outdoor hot springs, and the yukata in the room is made of high-quality materials. There is also a shrine that looks very simple and hidden behind the hotel, as well as a large bamboo forest, which you can go to in the morning. The only drawback is that it is a bit far from the central business district of the town, so you need to walk down the mountain or ask the hotel to call a car to rent a car

It is the best location if you follow the street all the way. There is no separate bathroom, so if possible, it would be better to get a room with an open-air bath to be satisfied. You can walk to the lake, tourist street, and 'Sim', famous for its idle pot rice, within a short distance. The town is not that big, but it is so cute that you lose track of time. Then, when it gets dark around 6 o'clock, all the surrounding shops close. Instead, they open early in the morning (around 8 o'clock) and because it gets dark early, you can see the spectacular view of the dark night filled with stars around 8 or 9 o'clock. It may be covered by clouds and water vapor, so it is not possible to see it all night. It is too bad to stay for one night. If the price doesn't go up too much, I think I will visit this place again as a satisfactory accommodation.

As most commenters said, the facility and furniture are indeed with certain ages. Location is good and window outside view is fabulous. The staff are nice except one male reception staff is a bit severed, he insisted the breakfast last order is 8:00am as both dinner and breakfast are sets for each person and well prepared on the table before your scheduled time. It is too early compares to global standard especially for a family with a 5 years old child,we were trying to require for the later timeframe but he shaked his head with no further assistance,while by next morning I saw there was another table guests arrived after 8:20am but their meal is also well-prepared on the table awaits for them. The food is very Japanese local style,fresh and special with different spices,good for a try

Great hospitality experience from booking until our way back from Yufuin train station. The staff service was 5-star. The hotel is located in the main touristic area but as soon as you step behind the curtain, it is calm and lovely. The room was sparkling clean, with great amenities and comfort. The public/private baths were also great, very clean and no reservation needed. Special mention to the restaurant recommendation, a great dinner spot recommended nearby the hotel. Strongly recommend to anyone willing to stay in Yufuin.

Good customer service and the environment was very beautiful with scenic decorations. The hotel was located near the tourist spot - the 金鏻湖 and the 湯之坪街道 so it’s super convenient The food served was local Japanese food and was also very nice. It’s a wonderful experience and our stay there was very worthwhile.

I read previous reviews that the hotel has a pick-up and drop-off service, but I checked via email two days before arrival but found it was not available. In the end, I ended up using the luggage delivery service at Yufuin Station! The staff was very nice when checking in! It's just that when booking a room, I entered the information of one large and one small. I don't know if it's a problem with trip.com or the hotel. For one room and two meals, I can only choose one or not. For one, I can only choose the 2 big prices. No. One big and one small! Just because there are only 2 large choices, the hotel only prepares 2 large toothbrushes for cleaning! I saw that the hotel had toothbrushes for children, and when I asked, they said they couldn’t give them to me because I booked a toothbrush for 2 adults! This makes me a little disappointed! They are one, one and one. In fact, I can also know the booking information early in the morning! When I arrived, they said they could change me to a children's dinner! Of course, if the price is very different, I won’t be refunded! Dinner was in the hotel's lobby room, and the staff responsible for delivering the food were all very nice! The food was good but not much of a surprise! The kids meals are great! There is a private bath in the room, which is why I booked it! The indoor private bath is useless because we are afraid of insects! We checked out the next morning, and because we were going to change to another hotel, we asked the staff to help us transport our luggage to the station. We paid in advance and asked the staff to transfer us to another hotel at the station! It’s so convenient as we have to go out for fun early in the morning! Overall it's good! The staff's attitude is very good!

Fantastic accommodation. There's 5 onsen that you can try out during your stay. Food is really good with free flow alcohol for dinner. Really sweet of the staff to prepare snacks and a complimentary Polaroid shot when you check out. Everything is just so comfortable and fuss-free.

How cost-effective it is. Small business. There is a pick-up service after 3pm. We will take you to the station when you leave. There are only 6 rooms. Basically no one is using the public hot springs. You can go in at any time. It is no different from private ones. The meals are like family dishes. There are Mandarin-speaking work-study students. No need to worry about communication problems.

Location - A bit far away from the Yufuin JR station, driving is recommended. Within walking distance of Kinrinko and Stained Glass Museum is a plus. Cleanliness - Clean room and common bath area. Service - Per booking confirmation check-in time is 1500-1900. Front desk staff was already gone when I arrived at around 1815. Took longer then expected for doing self check-in as the reservation number I have is different from what it is in the system, and the staff over phone barely speaks English so I have to use my broken Japanese to communicate. Facilities - Cannot ask for more for such a price. Free bicycle rental service is great for non-driving guess to travel around Yufuin.

All aspects are very good. My husband and I are very satisfied. Although there is no courtyard and the location is a bit far away, it is worth it. The hotel will have a special car to pick you up. Just call in advance to confirm. It’s also very good, every room has a private soup, the privacy is very good, the key food is really great 👍🏻 If you go to Yufuin again, I still want to live in his house!
