"We originally booked in here for one night but ended up staying for three! This is a lovely and welcoming home. The parking is totally secure but as you're in the middle of the countryside you don't need to worry about it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and large, we particularly liked the balcony room. The owners are the most charming people and I do recommend having dinner with them as it is not just good cooking but truly hilarious company. They own a little restaurant in Auxerre which is well priced and worth a visit. We really loved our stay and hopefully will be back."

"We really relaxed in this accommodation. A pleasant couple, always willing to help, and their lifestyle was transferred to this accommodation. Pleasant family atmosphere. In the rooms there are old gramophones from the 70s and records from this period. An indescribable experience. But if you are looking for a TV, forget it. That is the biggest advantage."

"This is a slightly tired hotel, in need of a refurbishment. Some of the rooms are tiny. On both our visits we found the hosts to be fairly charmless. We had a good, but not great, meal. Nice swimming pool, but it is a short walk up the road. In summary, okay, but not much more."

"The hotel location is far away from downtown Sens, and there is hardly any public transportation. The rooms are decent, the breakfast is chargeable and not worth the money. Only saving grace is it is located in area with multiple restaurants from french to asian and other fast food chains, and located conveniently in an area with multiple shopping options. Although this is the best you can manage in the small town"

"The room was not clean, the toilets were dirty and there were spiders in the room. The draps were dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very comfortable and the sleep was difficult."

"Came across this by chance and what a find. Amazingly characterful rooms and high quality fittings and bedding at a great price. Staff were welcoming and helpful, location is beautiful. Have added a couple of my own photos which do look very similar to what you see on the website so you know that what you see is what you get. Would absolutely stay there again and hope to one day."

"A perfect and delightful stay at Les Glycines which is well placed on the hill top historic village of Vezelay. The beautiful terrace leads to the well appointed hotel building where the reception was most welcoming and helpful. We had a small but, for us, perfect bedroom which was well fitted out and supported. The breakfast was plentiful and available in a pleasant setting. We had a memorable stay and already miss our stay at Vezelay."
