Dishonest and cunning hotel owner...paid twice the price for advertised river view room but the view is city view/mountain view. When I saw the view I was very disappointed as I chose this hotel over a neighboring hotel specifically for the river view. When I spoke to the owner, he agreed to refund me 50%, but the next morning, he went against his promise and refused to give the refund as I had already stayed in the room....this dishonest conduct should be reported to trip.com to blacklist such owners, so that others will not face the same issue in the future..I upload the actual view from the room window for you to judge if this can be considered a river view. Owner was cunning to upload the room photo taken from the room door only, so you do not see the rooftops..misleading. The hotel and room was old, dirty, worn down and not worth less than 100rmb in my honest opinion. Don't be fooled

The hotel is very good , comfortable room, the owner was very nice and friendly and helped me arrange all my tours, it was the best hotel I stayed in China.

Very convenient location nearby for food and stalls. Only a short walk from the bus station. Room was clean and tidy with a good view. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He even took us on a short tour around the area and helped arrange for transportation and recommended the best places to visit. Would definitely visit again in future.

Best position in Xingping. Wonderful room (suite). Stunning view (+-20 rmb). Super helpful in organizing everything.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. It is ideally located. Steps from Old Town and close to New town. Close to the main road and between the ticket booth for the boat trips and the raft trips. The suite is very comfortable and we enjoyed the view from the balcony at sunrise and sunset. Note: Like other small hotels, there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us as we had small bags.

Beautiful location with an amazing view. Next to the old town and easy to rent a scooter to find the 20th an spot as well as to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Forgot to take picture of the room but if you go to the 6th floor of the hotel the view is breathtaking.

If your target is a central stay and just for a night it’s great. Located within the old village, Guilin rice noodles offered for breakfast in the restaurant and simple room with bed and small bathroom.

Comfortable rooms and very good position

The owner of this hotel speaks fluent English, so it's very reassuring. The room was designed with a uniform wood design, which was perfect for my taste. The purpose of visiting this village was to climb Xiangong Mountain to see the spectacular sunrise. At first, I planned to travel to the climbing site by myself, but after checking, I found out that there was only a boat for tour guests in the early morning (around 4am). Even though it was 9pm, the kind hotel owner arranged a tour for me. We left at 4am and took a boat and a car to Xiangong Mountain. We returned to the hotel at 7am and were able to sleep soundly until 10am. In the afternoon, we climbed Laozhai Mountain, which is right behind the hotel, for free. I think this is the best spot to watch the sunset.

Hygiene: Very bad, there are cockroaches 🪳, more than one

The hotel is located in Xingping Ancient Town Scenic Area, with a good location. The antique facilities are great, the environment is beautiful and quiet, there are many delicious foods around, and there are nearby tourist attractions. The front desk reception service is enthusiastic, giving people a warm feeling. Thumbs up!

The worst hotel (actually a B&B) I stayed in during this trip (11 days in total). The toilet was clogged. Although the bathroom door was closed, there was a faint smell all night. Who can understand that kind of pain 😖. The room was also very small, smaller than the hotel rooms in Hong Kong. The bathroom did not have a separate shower, and it was next to the toilet. When taking a shower, the bathroom was full of water. The room was arranged on the 6th floor, and there was no elevator. I could only climb up slowly with my suitcase. The experience was really bad. Everyone should keep their eyes open and choose carefully!

Because there is no elevator, the ladies will carry our luggage for us, lend us a kettle, and give us a place to eat instant noodles. The hotel is downstairs to a popular scenic spot. But the room is really bad, very small, marked with a window but actually only a little bit, and the most important thing is that the hygiene is super poor. When I entered, there were melon seed shells in the room, a lot of hair in the toilet, and the shampoo and shower gel bottle used by the previous guest. In addition, the air conditioning is very poor, and there are mosquitoes. I hope the ladies in the hotel can pay attention to and pay attention to these problems.
