The hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!). Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

Loved the Japanese feel the place. Not too far from all the sights and if you speak to the hotel staff or if you're brave enough the locals you can have a slap up trip, filled with fun, fun and fun. One of my favourite hotels I've stayed in and definitely the most beautiful and worthwhile places I've been to in China.

The hotel offers anything you need to have good days in Yangshuo. The street is quiet, and the town center is less than 5 minutes away walking. On the next door there’s a great restaurant, Lan’s kebab & burger. I rented motorbikes at the same hotel. They offer free fruit and snacks every afternoon, which is great if you have kids (they do their afternoon snack).

Our stay at the hotel was really good. The location was near to the West street and everything else was reachable in a good distance. The hotel posesses a wonderful rooftop with a good view over the city. The hotel furthermore has a laundry machine which is free to use (soap is included). On the negative side the hotel staff which was working in the afternoon/evening was not really helpful as they didnt try to help us out booking tours. The morning staff was quite helpful and nice though and also spoke a bit english. Finally, the hotel rents scooters, but no bicycles.

Cute hotel. Very clean, AC and water pressure in the room were excellent. Front desk people were very nice. Breakfast area was hot.

We booked this hotel the first time and we enjoyed it. The nice hotel has a pool on the roof and we had a really nice time in the pool. We can recommend this hotel 😊

Perfect hotel if you want to explore the city, nice pool area

Excellent room, comfortable bed with a great projector for watching movies. Beautiful roof top pool area with a good view of Yangshuo. Friendly and helpful staff.
