Marriott Hotels in Xiamen

The front desk lady Kiana is very gentle and patient. She upgraded the sea view room for free and prepared small gifts for us. The room is comfortable and tidy. I like it.

Two summers ago, I stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Xiamen. This year, my kids requested to stay at this hotel again, so we did. My reasons for choosing and loving this hotel are: 1. The scenery is stunning. Although it's off the island, it doesn't affect the family-friendly nature of the experience. 2. There are plenty of clean pools, and the security is excellent, making it safer for the kids to use them. I remember one moment: the next day, the kids went to play in the pool on their own. When it rained, the security staff escorted them back to their room and checked in with me about their well-being. It was so heartwarming. 3. It's very close to the beach. Just swipe your hotel card and you're right there, making it a perfect choice for families who want to take their kids out for a relaxing stroll. 4. The Rainbow Trail outside the hotel is car-free, making it a great place for families to enjoy the mornings and evenings, or to explore on electric scooters. Marriott upgraded both of our rooms this year, and it was truly heartwarming. The front desk staff and the greeters were all smiles, which was incredibly inspiring and emotionally rewarding. ❗ A few minor hiccups, but they don't affect my 5-star rating for Marriott: 1. Nail clippers were paid for separately, but they were deducted from the room deposit; 2. After staying one night, I paid 50-60 yuan for parking. Upon checking in, I learned it wasn't required, but there was no security at the door, and the front desk didn't explain this at check-out; 3. I'm not sure what the ”Enjoy a Holiday Themed Travel Photography” feature (with three free retouched digital photos) means. I saw a professional photographer with a backpack at the pool and asked if it was free. They said it was.
