Indigo Hotels in Xiamen

When I booked online, only windowless rooms were available. Fortunately, at check-in, a sea-view room with an unbeatable 270-degree panorama became available, so I immediately paid extra to upgrade. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transport links. It's directly across from the cruise terminal and Gulangyu Island, and Zhongshan Street is just a 200-meter walk away. I watched the sunset right from my bed. The room itself is very spacious, at 50 square meters, and well-equipped with amenities. It even features a fridge, a safe, and an ironing board. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and offered excellent recommendations for local specialty shops and snacks. The lobby's luggage storage service was also a thoughtful touch. You can tell the hotel truly retains its five-star heritage, even if the decor might be a bit dated and the carpets show some wear. But this incredible view alone makes it worth every penny.

This is my second visit to this hotel. I can confidently say that this hotel continues to exceed my expectations in every way. The familiar comfort of the surroundings welcomed me back with open arms, making it feel like a home away from home. Once again, the tranquility of the place stood out, providing a peaceful retreat that was much needed. During this stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with Lizzy and the rest of the staff. Lizzy, in particular, shone with her exceptional friendliness and warmth. Her genuine smile and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my experience at the hotel. The rest of the staff also echoed this sentiment, creating an environment that was not only welcoming but also truly hospitable. Returning to this hotel for the second time has only reinforced my positive impressions. The combination of a serene atmosphere, strict no-smoking policy, and the incredibly friendly staff make this establishment a top choice for anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
