"This was the only guesthouse I'm giving a bad review on this trip to Zhejiang. First, our family booked two rooms, but they wouldn't give us rooms on the same floor, saying there were no rooms available. Upon entering the room, we were met with a strong smell of smoke, and we had to go to the front desk. Actually, there were rooms available. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. Wuyi Ancient Street was nice, though. Yanfu Temple is highly recommended."

"I've stayed at Tangfeng more than ten times over the past decade or so, and the facilities are just getting worse. If it wasn't the closest to the city center and convenient for dining, I really wouldn't put up with it. This time, it was so exaggerated that Building 8 had white fluorescent tube lighting... absolutely no atmosphere. It seems like the old Building 6 is still the most decent one now. Half of the hot spring pools were closed. They used to have dry towels in the hot spring area, but now there's nothing. The auntie was quite fierce, which we've never encountered before. Yeah, who knows where this person was ten years ago 🙃 Finally, breakfast. Diluted milk? Seriously?? How much is a liter of milk this year? The restaurant was packed in the morning, so you can't be that short on cash, can you? I'll even overlook the rude noodle chef, but the pancake stall couldn't even consistently supply preserved vegetable pancakes."

"The environment is quiet, and the owner has thoughtfully decorated the place. I checked it out for last year's guests, and the puppy has grown up. It was evening when we arrived, and the owner, realizing we hadn't had dinner yet, immediately brought us glutinous rice and steamed dumplings. They were delicious and heartwarming. There's a charging station right outside, so there's no need to worry about the tram. Parts of the scenic area are under maintenance, but I saw a man leading five horses uphill, transporting supplies. There are cats on the mountain, so if you can, bring food to feed them. They were very friendly. Perhaps because there were fewer tourists on weekdays, they followed us for a while. We took the scenic bus up the mountain and climbed the stairs after getting off. We took the glass slide down the mountain, which was quite gentle. The view of the red cliffs on the way down was particularly spectacular."

Overall, the hotel provided good value and a convenient base for exploring the area. However, the breakfast experience could be improved. The breakfast area felt more like a canteen than a hotel dining venue. In addition, hotel staff and guests appeared to share the same dining area, which reduced the overall dining atmosphere and made it feel less organized. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the cleanliness and comfort provided by the hotel."
