Wuhan Rejoice by Argyle Hotel(Yellow Crane Tower &Tanhualin Store)

I love the neighbourhood. It is more peaceful than the usual tourist areas but still convenient with the metro nearby. The location itself is beautiful, and the room and bed are super comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Wuhan Rejoice by Argyle Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I was disappointed not to see the Yellow Crane Tower from the hotel, and finding the lift late at night was challenging due to unclear signage. Additionally, the hotel is not directly accessible by taxi, which made transfers inconvenient. While the friendly service was a highlight, the accessibility issues and lack of views were notable downsides.

My experience there was good. The staff were really kind and helpful. The room was good, though I wish it had a minibar. The breakfast was delicious, but if you want some black coffee, you better get it on one of the nearby cafes. The cleaning staff would go to my room around 6pm, which I think is a bit late, but they still went anyways. The location has its pros and cons. The pros are that it’s close to a subway station and you can take a walk to the Hubu Alley and the riverside. In the spring, the scenery around the hotel is beautiful, it has a lot of roses and other kinds of flowers, attracting many tourists and making it hard to carry the luggage around there. The streets are also not that luggage-friendly so it’s quite a mission to walk to the hotel carrying it. I did have some trouble finding the hotel entrance and had to ask five different people for directions. If you don’t speak Chinese, get your translation app ready. Here’s a tip: you’ve gotta take an elevator to get to the hotel lobby.

Super location, very friendly front desk, easy smooth check in and out. Traffic a bit congested on busy days, house -keepimg a bit tardy. Highly recommend the Qian Garden 钱园 nearby for delicious Wuhan dinner. You can also make your way to the nearby 老张书屋，a writer -owned bookshop. He keeps a donation box for medical staff during Covid. His Covid diary recording the lockdown experience in Wuhan is also available in the shop.

Lovely hotel in a quirky location close to the metro. Friendly and thoughtful staff. Comfortable beds and clean. Not right next to the road so you will need to carry luggage.

So happy that my friend recommended this hotel. The location excellent, right in the heart of Tan Hualin, and walking distance to the Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, many other famous spots and food streets etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel for all who wants romance, fun, food, and convenience.
