"Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Outside was a building site! however staff were friendly and had pre typed a local list of places where we could buy some food and a drink. No facilities available at Premier inn during our stay. The bigger problem was the heavy handed imposed fines from Horizon parking. Premier inn advertise free parking. We filled out our car registration and that we were staying two nights. I have since received not one but two separate parking fines. Each at £95 (total of £190) being higher than the cost of the hotel stay! Disgusted by the attack from Horizon parking. I have raised formal complaint and am led to believe all will now be well. Be careful when staying at this hotel. It is very much self service with hours now spent clearing the inaccurate penalties that were levied. Just to park my car in the free parking!"
