"Great location next to the lake and easy to access.   Unfortunately service was poor: check-in was at 4:00 pm but our room wasn’t ready until about 4:30 pm due to staff shortages for the holidays.   Breakfast was disappointing — leftover cakes and desserts from a party were mixed in with breakfast items and felt like a quick cover-up, not proper breakfast offerings.   At checkout the receptionist admitted staffing problems (several employees absent) but the hotel should not sell rooms if they can’t staff them.   Not what I expect from a four-star hotel."

"Great location and wry nice outdoor pool. Views are superb! Rooms have new bathrooms which are great and also wooden floor in the rooms. Other than that the hotel is pretty dated style-wise. For the location it’s very good value for money. Only real downside is that the service is rather incompetent and the food average at best."

"I loved this hotel! I didn’t go to the spa as we were passing through on our way home from Lake Como in Italy but we will be back! Loved Weggis, what a lovely little place and quiet even though there was a music festival on. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room with a balcony view and it was stunning. The balcony was a good size, the view was priceless. The air conditioning was reasonable and bed very comfy with lovely towels too! Breakfast was very good. "

"Very beautiful, it's the first stop when you get off the boat in Lucerne. The lake view is very beautiful, very clean and healing in the morning, and it's also very beautiful to walk around the lake. It's worth staying again. However, there are not many restaurant options in the town, so you can only eat in the hotel. It's so beautiful."

"The location of the hotel is perfectly beautiful and conveniently close to public transport. This includes the boats which go on various trips on the lake. Service in the hotel was very good and I would especially like to mention Kenny at reception who was happy to go the extra mile. The food was good and a wonderful breakfast buffet is served. The coffee was good, croissants and bread fresh, a wonderful selection of good quality jam, simply excellent. For those who wanted, there was even smoked salmon and on certain days, a glass of bubbly!! Would also like to mention the two ladies who run “breakfast” and keep things clean and fresh. Thank you."

"Nice mountain hotel 5 min walking distance ( slightly steepy road) from Rigi Kaltbad. Very friendly staff, cozy and clean room. I had the room with a little terasse towards the lake… amazing panorama! Not a lot amenities ( no tv, no coffee maker), but this hotel is about the nature experience! Being a little bit secluded and not reachable by car, logistics is not trivial. Therefore no à la carte menu, but if you are interested, they offer a really with love made 4 couse dinner, that tasted also really good. Nice breakfast buffet. For nature lovers, who appreciate the simple but good things a must!"
