Best Weggis Hotels

"I expected a standard hotel for this price in Switzerland, but I was truly amazed when I opened the window after checking in to find a lake view plus snow-capped mountains, and even a small balcony! The room itself was also very spacious, and the bedding and facilities were comfortable. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but given the current temperature in Weggis, it was comfortable enough without it. P.S. A few hundred meters south of the hotel, there's a monument to Mark Twain and the oak tree where he once lived and wrote."

"Alors l'hôtel est superbe à l'intérieur c'est très beau la restauration les serveurs sont super sympa mais par contre ce qui nous ont pas averti c'est qu'il y avait des immenses travaux devant il y avait une grue et beaucoup de bruit et c'est aussi inadmissible qu'on nous a rien à faire par rapport à ça."

"The room has a beautiful view, the snow-capped mountains outside the window, and you can see the Rizhao Jinshan and the beautiful sunset without leaving the room. It is also very convenient to climb St. Regis Mountain. You can climb it yourself. The surrounding residential areas are also beautiful. You can see the countryside scenery."

"Rooms and breakfast were in line with our expectations. The room was clean - the bath was something very narrowly measured. SPA was in any way good - some glittering plates in the outdoor area. But: When checking in, we were informed that the lift was out and no repair would be made at the weekend. We, both of us, were no longer very young, our room was on the 4th floor. We were offered help in carrying bags, but the staircase had quite criminally tight, short steps in one floor - not just ideal. I also noticed that the call button panel was expanded on all floors. In Parterre, the floor display is also expanded. After a short lift failure, the whole thing didn't look like - there would have been enough a sign, at least the main switch could have been turned off. I suppose the lift was longer defect, and will it stay for a while? At the departure, another guest told us that there had been a working staff lift. I think we were not told about it deliberately. I find this a conjecture. I assume it was not the fault of the receptionist - she probably had her instructions. In the hotel description you could have clearly indicated that the PP CHF 6 per day would be charged and the short charges would be charged directly in the hotel. Maybe it is somewhere - then, however, well to read. In all, the price was quite high - for Weggis probably in the usual framework."

"The hotel faces Lake Lucerne, with beautiful scenery. The room is small, the bathroom is small, there is no business around, and it is a drive from the town of Weggis. There is a small pier next to the hotel, where you can take a boat to Lucerne. It is suitable for self-driving. The hotel has a parking lot but it charges a parking fee."

"Very nice Hotel beside the lake and close to the Cable car station to the Rigi Mountain, 5km from the rack train station. Very warm friendly employees. Very tasteful breakfast with crispy bread and croissant. It was a pity that we arrived the Hotel late and departure early next morning so we could only catch few hours of day light lake view. I had hesitation to choose this Hotel as the room is indicated only 12 square meters, but when we went inside we found it is double of this indicated surface. Wish Hotel and Trip.com could correct this mistake and gives this Hotel a deserved attention."

"The location of the hotel is perfectly beautiful and conveniently close to public transport. This includes the boats which go on various trips on the lake. Service in the hotel was very good and I would especially like to mention Kenny at reception who was happy to go the extra mile. The food was good and a wonderful breakfast buffet is served. The coffee was good, croissants and bread fresh, a wonderful selection of good quality jam, simply excellent. For those who wanted, there was even smoked salmon and on certain days, a glass of bubbly!! Would also like to mention the two ladies who run “breakfast” and keep things clean and fresh. Thank you."

"Very typical continental breakfast, and the breakfast staff is very nice. We are traveling with children, and the hotel has added a crib. The room also welcomes snacks and fruits, and it feels good. The hotel is close to the lake, bicycles are provided for free, and we can also walk around the lake. Although the transportation is inconvenient, the hotel also sent us to the pier for free by boat. The hotel has a swimming pool and the children have a great time. Overall, satisfactory! There is free afternoon tea🤗"
