Azur Hotel Volos ★★★★
"Location of the hotel is perfect, next to the port, but if you prefer sea view make sure you book a room with it. Breakfast could be a bit more rich, but it's still satisfying. Rooms are new, super clean and beautiful."
Domotel Xenia Volos ★★★★★
"Nice location and very clean"
Hotel Hani Zisi ★★
"Unfortunately, there was a big problem with the fireplace. In the hour that I was able to sit down (because I assumed it was something temporary), I found that the entire 1st floor had a big problem, since it was leaking smoke! When I asked the hotel if there was another room that wasn't leaking, the answer was negative, and the reason for the problem was that it was leaking because "wind is blowing and we can't do anything about it"!!!! Unfortunately for the hotel managers, I work for a technical company and have (also) worked on chimney installations. Therefore, I know that when the chimney is leaking smoke, it's not the wind's fault! Quite simply, either the construction is wrong or the chimney has not been maintained. Too bad, because the place seemed to be about the same as the photos, even if the room (triple) needed a renovation, while the tavern outside looked amazing. I say it seemed because I didn't sit down to eat, of course. Finally, the manager, in addition to writing me down in a place where ink doesn't get caught in my remarks about the tobacco, almost shouted at me (classic behavior of a Greek "businessman" when he doesn't need the customer) because I told him that I would delay leaving a little until I found another place to stay. And because I didn't want to "poison" (literally, because I have respiratory problems, and figuratively) my vacation any more, I got up and left. My "poisoning" cost me an overnight stay, as is also provided for by the hotel's policy. I was expecting something better because of the inconvenience, since I finally found somewhere to stay in the afternoon, and not in the mountains of course, but we said, it was August 15th and they didn't need us, so..."
1910 Lifestyle Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the port. The room is small but clean and tidy. Breakfast is good, and the view is excellent. I booked a sea-view room, which indeed offers a nice sea view, but it is also next to the road, so it can be a bit noisy at night."
Hotel Kipseli ★★★
"We have been making reservations at this hotel many times each year, usually for 2–5 days at a time. The hotel is basic, with small rooms, although some rooms offer a sea view. The location is convenient, especially if you are visiting relatives, as in our case. The main problem with this hotel is the staff. Many of the employees are not professional, and some can be quite rude. Apart from a few exceptions, most of the staff seem to work there only for short periods, so they do not receive any training or gain enough experience. During my last visit, I had planned to stay for four days, but I ended up staying only one night. A receptionist insisted that I pay in advance for all four nights, even though I have been a client for more than 25 years. She explained that they were planning to do a software update, that is a silly excuse. When I told her that I would move to another hotel instead, she did not seem to care at all. I was expecting her to pass my disagreement to the owner, but she didn’t care also. Very disappointing experience!"
Valeni Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"We had a horrible moment when arriving at this hotel. Staff was unexperienced, not expetienced, ,saying there where not responsible for any problem..leading the peoblems to « manager » . Please avoid tjos place! Neveg again!!! To sad because the location is beautifull,"
Hôtel Argo ★
"I recommend this hotel if you’re going to be getting on the ferry or not. It’s a very nice hotel. The staff was fabulous. The room was great and the bed was awesome."
Magnes Hotel ★★★★
"I booked this hotel in August because I think it is very nice and in a beautiful location. On the approach trip from Turkey we had a problem with the car and we had to cancel the room. Even though the cancellation deadline had expired, the hotel did not charge us anything. It is right that these things are also known, because the seriousness of the property is among the most important things that must be evaluated. Congratulations, I will return when I am in Greece. Let's not underestimate these things because they are as important as the stay. THANK YOU"
Hotel Nefeli ★★★
"We stayed in Room 601, not a bad view, of this small hotel, right in the middle of town, walking distance to waterfront. Room was very clean and modern, with a good shower, and few toiletries. We did find the bed a bit small though and we are not tall people. The buffet breakfast was quite traditional and very nice. Would stay her again and recommend."

Palladio Hotel - Portaria
"The room was awful when you entered the room.Of the five rooms only in one had towels, so we could get us to the rest of their rooms we asked for it three times and they finally brought them in the evening. The worst was that they did not turn on the heating, and in the rooms the temperature barely reached 18 degrees (then they closed the heating and fell to 16). Every 2-3 hours we had the time to look for the person responsible to do something with the burner that didn't work (even at 4 o'clock we were looking to turn on the heating so we wouldn't freeze). You understand that in a mountain destination and indeed in winter this is a big problem; the score with 1 star is done because there is no 0 (or even less)."
Elite Cottages
Despotiko
"There is a little exercise to get to the hotel, very well equipped, with a underground parking, very nice reception and a beautiful room that gives the swimming pool, we are five minutes from the delicious small restaurants, prepare good things to go, We loved a lot, the calm two steps from the center and the walks,"
Palladio Hotel
"A nice, preserved set of 19th century traditional decoration in the countryside and in the rooms without excess.Delicious breakfast with fresh panther's cakes.Beautiful courtyard and a rooftop to enjoy a coffee and a bathtub. In our time, it is perfect. Value for money. I'll stay there again if I go back to the clay."
Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa
"A great experience underlined by beautiful surroundings, the warmth of the staff and the fresh products served at the restaurant. We loved the breakfast with fresh eggs and other fresh produce at the buffet. Dinner was great with simple yet, tasty and local products. Walking around the resort makes you "switch off" as the natural setting is out of this world. And if you love sports you will not be disappointed. An indoor basketball court is available to train. For those who love nature, renting suite 115 is second to none as you get to sleep with the window open and hear the sound of the water flowing by the neighboring river."
Portaria Hotel
"The location was very convenient, and the staff were lovely and helpful with every request. The hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay."
Xenia Palace Portaria
"Very good looking room, very clean, great staff, and a very cozy Christmas environment; what else could you ask for around December? The lobby is a place to have a seat and enjoy a book or in case you have to work, take your laptop/tablet and be productive. They also have a great breakfast!"
Tasia Mountain Hotel
"The hotel was centrally located for visiting both the east and west coasts of the northern area of the Pelion peninsula, (an area known for its winding roads which take a long time to get around). It was also spotlessly clean & comfortable and the breakfast superb. However, what makes this hotel really special is the warm, family atmosphere created by Anastasia who does everything she can to make your stay extra special. We would give her 15 out of 10 if we could! There is nothing to dislike but customers should be aware that out of season, there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity and we therefore profited from Anastasia's snack menu each evening."
Local Urban Living
"A really nice hotel cited in a quiet neighbourhood near the center of Volos. Very cosy, with great amenities (free water, refreshments and coffee in the room). The staff is friendly and professional. The most impressive was the communication before the arrival with written suggestions and info for entertainment and events which took place at the city during the Christmas season. I really appreciated that."
Kenta Mountain Hotel
"Very nice place in the center of the village, big and comfortable rooms ,the hotel is very clean! good location in the area, the owner vasili and voula are wonderful couple and you fill like a family. A rich and certainly satisfying breakfast."
