"My husband and I are staying at the hotel. 1) Our transfer to the airport was an hour and a half late. 2) The guide on the bus told us it would take us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to the hotel, when in reality it was 4 hours! We had to beg for a simple restroom stop! 3) When we arrived at the hotel, be prepared to lug your heavy suitcases up the hill yourself. 4) We were checked into a room with no electricity. Since there was practically no time for dinner, we left our bags in the room, went down to reception to report the problem, asked the technician to fix it, and went to dinner. We then returned to our room and discovered that the organizer containing wireless headphones, power banks, chargers, and cables, worth about 700 zlotys, was not in the room; in other words, it had been stolen. We contacted reception about the situation, and they told us it was nothing to do with it, and that the technician hadn't taken anything. They refused to resolve the situation!!! 5) We lived on the 6th floor, and the balcony view, which was advertised as being of the sea, was of a forest and mountains, which was quite dark and gloomy. 6) The water pressure in the faucet and shower was minimal, and sometimes there was no water at all. 7) The views were beautiful, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. 8) The only pool was small. 9) There was no entertainment, animation, or music on the beach. 10) The hotel was a 30-minute drive from Vlora, and there were no shops or ATMs nearby, and the hotel taxis made up prices on the fly. I could go on and on about the downsides. There aren't 5 stars here, 2 at most, and that's because the hotel is modern. The service was terrible, the food was the same every day, and on top of that, you'd get ripped off."

"I recently stayed at the Yacht Hotel, and it was a disappointing experience. The electricity kept cutting out during my stay, which made things very uncomfortable. The power outages affected the lighting and air conditioning, leaving us in the dark and heat. It took far too long for the staff to resolve the issue, and there was little communication about what was going on. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my stay at the Yacht Hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to others."

"We had a totally great experience staying at Hotel Potami and will definitely be staying there again. The hotel itself is absolutely excellent, beautiful, and really reached the standards we were expecting. Grace, the manageress, is absolutely amazing, very helpful, and cheerful. She is doing a brilliant job managing the hotel, and I feel like I've made a new friend in her—she easily deserves a 5 out of 5 stars! Being a brand-new hotel, I completely understand that there are still a few adjustments to be made. The rooftop restaurant/bar wasn't functional yet during our stay, and there just needs to be a bit of improvement regarding the bathroom showers, as the water tends to flow out onto the floor. Additionally, while the rest of the staff was wonderful, the receptionist didn't come across as very friendly and could use a bit more warmth with guests. Minor growing pains aside, it is a wonderful place. I give the hotel itself a solid 4.8 out of 5 stars (or 4/5 overall), and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Himara!"

"My daughter (15) and I booked this hotel for a week. We arrived late at night, and I was already surprised that check-in was taking so long. We were then told there was a system error and that we would be given a temporary room; we were to move again the following day. So we had breakfast (good selection) and then went to the beach. When we returned at 1:30 pm, we were greeted, or rather, called after in a very unpleasant manner. I thought we would finally get the other room, but I was wrong. With serious, blasé expressions, we were informed that there was no booking for us. Either we paid for the entire stay or we had to vacate the room immediately because other paying guests were arriving shortly. We were completely perplexed. We had paid for the flight and hotel together through our provider. There was no arguing with the staff, so we left and packed our things. In the lobby, it was now up to us to deal with the problem. No one offered us any assistance or tried to resolve the issue together. Any thought of service or even compassion was clearly absent here. My daughter and I were treated like parasites that someone wanted to get rid of as quickly as possible. It was a horrific experience and the worst first day of vacation imaginable. We weren't even offered a glass of water, nor was a single friendly word exchanged. Incredibly, the manager for our tour operator was unreachable—he simply didn't answer the phone! So, nothing could be resolved. In the end, we took a taxi and were rebooked by the tour operator into a different hotel. Regina Blu, never again!"

"This hotel is clean and located directly across from the beach. There are many restaurants within a few minutes walking distance, including the hotel’s own attractive beach club directly across the street. Our room was spacious and clean with good air conditioning. The parking is challenging but the hotel provides valet parking, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was adequate but not very thoughtfully presented. The biggest drawback of this hotel is the street noise during the night due to the street in front of the hotel. There are many cars driving back and forth on the beach promenade during the night revving their engines until the early hours of the morning, and then traffic picks up again at 6am. If you are looking for a clean hotel that is conveniently located directly across from the beach, this is a good choice, but if you want something peaceful where you can get a good night’s sleep, I recommend looking for something that is set back farther from the main beach promenade road."
