"Location is excellent as next to ferry pier. A cozy little hotel and facility looks quite new and staff are frienly. We had drinks and food at the outdoor restaurant with good scenery. Just need to note house keeping services is not available 24 hours, so ask early if you need extra amenities! "

"It was great! Even though I only understood a little English and it was raining, I still enjoyed myself. The animals were sleeping and the zoo was empty early in the morning, which felt special. But be careful, there are no hair dryers!
I was very satisfied with the dingoes, platypuses, wombats and Tasmanian devils in the zoo."
"Stayed 2 nights here in ”animal view room”. There are 4 rooms of such kind in our row and our room is 333 which is good as it is the second last on the row and the tree in front of our room is larger with thicker trunk which means the Koala usually chooses our tree to anchor. For other rooms on the row, I think it doesn't worth the higher room rate. King-bed was shown only online during booking but actually there are twin rooms available. One half-hour sanctuary walking tour per person is included in our package besides zoo entrance."
"On the plus side: we upgraded ourselves to a village suite and the size was spacious. Breakfast was fabulous and something to look forward to, although 7am start is a bit late for us.. Most of the staff were lovely and well trained. Room was cosy and quiet at night. Fresh towels and clean bathroom. Easy and convenient location outside of CBD. This is the only big hotel in the area and there are some great restaurants nearby - Carmela, Margaret, Bill’s etc. usefully close to Chemist Warehouse for essentials you’ve forgotten.
On the negative: It should be classed as 4* - quite cheaply constructed and maintained. Not what you might consider to be luxury. Rooms are dark, with poorly thought out lighting; the carpet rarely vacuumed (if at all) during our five night stay. Hand held shower head spray nozzles were blocked, bathtub drain was also blocked. Sinks not very clean. Windows in room and dining room very dirty. Big construction site adjacent so we moved rooms to get away from the noise and view of the cranes. Overpriced hotel offering when you consider we could have booked the Capella in CBD at nearly the same rate as our suite, but nice to be away from the city."
"We like this hotel and have stayed here several times. The central rooms have no windows to the outside which is mot great. But overall the location, price, safety and comfort of this hotel works for us."
"Although this hotel is very conveniently located, just 5 minutes away from Bondi beach, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.
We paid just over 1,000 Australian dollars for two nights, since it is a four star hotel; however what we got was far from the expected.
During my stay I didn’t see anyone and the communication was done through WhatsApp. The check-in process was messy, they send you the information via email, the wifi was not accessible so I needed to connect on the internet of the bakery next door to be able to receive the check-in information.
The room itself is spacious (We booked the King Suite room) but the room wasn’t too clean, the bed was not properly made, and the duvet was very dirty, the furniture was old and rugged. The internet in the room kept dropping, which was very inconvenient.
There is no cleaning service unless you pay extra (and this information I only found out after reading reviews online).
The checkout is at 10, which is too early, we had to pay extra 50 dollars to stay two more hours.
Once again, when you pay 500 AUD a night, the expectations are those of a four star hotel, not what feels more like a hostel."
"Because the thunderstorm weather Sydney Airport was all closed, the hotel was urgently fixed that night, but it was really worth it! High cost performance, large room, large terrace, kitchen utensils, can cook, but the cooking fumes are careful, the fire alarm will ring, we will sound 2 alarms when cooking, there is a hotel security officer I ran up to see the situation and didn't say anything. We felt very embarrassed. I can eat on the terrace (Figure 1-2), and my mom gave a hearty breakfast (Figure 4). The B1 floor of the hotel elevator is the food supermarket (Figure 4). It is quite big, the dishes are very fresh, and you can do it by buying a round-trip hotel room downstairs. There is a passage at the entrance of the food supermarket. It is the road, and the road is just opposite Bondi Beach. It is very close."
