"To begin with the front desk clerks were great and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed & it was June 1st, so that was a bummer. They advertise a gourmet breakfast, to my surprise --- it wasn't even close, no cream for the coffee, one of the juice drinks were out , no yogurt, then to top it all off ---- The waffle machine was disgusting!!! Dirty, & when I asked about the lady making a waffle ahead of me about her waffle sticking to the waffle maker,the host said " well, it's because all of the non stick coating on the waffle maker is worn off" & the hotel was supposed to be getting a new one!!! When I wiped it with a napkin - black stuff appeared on it... So needless to say NO Waffle for me Today!! The waffle maker shouldn't have even been in use! Wow. And the temperature of the sausage Links were cold to the touch!! Very disappointed, Louann Archer/Steven Vaughn"

"By far the staff at this hotel was so much more helpful and welcoming than any hotel I have ever previously stayed in. Good night staff was so friendly and willing to help answer questions. Good morning staff and breakfast stuff we're constantly checking on customers and making sure everyone had what they needed and were taken care of. Our room on the third floor was huge, spacious, included two giant Riverview windows, and was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in previously. Lastly, I have to mention that the breakfast buffet was more delicious and larger than any breakfast buffet of other hotels. We stayed for one night, myself, my boyfriend, and my 6-year-old son. Not a single complaint and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the downtown Evansville area!!"

"They're charging me $35! I don't know why. I left the room spotless, but on the contrary, it was very luxurious but not very clean. The towels smelled awful, and the toilet was dirty."

"Stayed here for two days. The breakfast was very good, with ham and fried eggs. The staff was also quite welcoming. The location is very good, right at the exit of the highway and on a main road in the city. There is a shopping mall next to me, so shopping is very convenient. Good review!"

"Dirty. Blood on the comforter in two places. Shower was gross and obviously not cleaned in several months. Carpet had something gross resembling blood on it. Apple juice and decaf coffee did not work. I would never stay here again. It was disgustingly dirty. If I hadn't had been there with family who had paid we would have left."
