"Just had a lovely, if damp, few days away without daughter. It was some three years since we last visited but everything was still just right. Spotlessly clean room and excellent food and service. Regarding the service we asked if there was sourdough and oat milk available. Someone (Alex?) went out and bought some especially for us. All the staff we met were charming and attentive we will be back"

"We booked the dining area for a post wedding meal for a party of 22. The room setting, ambience and food was superb! Richard especially went above and beyond to ensure our afternoon was an unforgettable one. Some of our travelling guests booked to stay overnight, and were pleased to be able to access their rooms early so they could enjoy a hassle free afternoon. 10/10 experience, we will absolutely be returning in the future…..Thankyou to all the staff for a special day!!"

"A lovely overnight stay at the Cwrt Bleddyn after a friend’s local party.Very pleased to stay in the main hotel rather than the annexe where I had stayed before . "Stumbled across this pub after a walk through Usk. Proper country pub, fabulous atmosphere, cosy corners, very Christmassy, lots of lights inside and out, Christmas tree, real fires, faux furs, rustic and very clean. There are some large rooms with big tables in for gatherings offering some privacy, a dining area, an outside wooden cabin which is decorated and heated. It’s quite unusual inside, one room looked like a library with a large dining table for example and there are stairs leading upstairs and off to the sides, some low ceilings in some areas- unique. There are outside benches also and lovely grassed areas. We only stopped for a drink initially as knew they’d stopped serving food however the chef stayed on for us, so we enjoyed a lovely meal here. There’s a good selection of food plus specials, and a vegan menu. It was fresh, plentiful and very hot. Husband had a turkey burger which was lovely and I had a tasty cod and chips. They we were not phased that we initially only stopped for a drink and I didn’t see anyone turned away. There’s also a secure dog field so your pup can burn some energy off if need be before going inside. There’s a bar if you want drink/ snack which is located up a few steps or if you can’t do steps there are some rooms for which the access is flat and the toilets can also be accessed easily. You can also stay here which is a bonus. Would be a lovely wedding venue / birthday venue etc. It’s a rare find to come across a proper pub these days rather than a chain. Will be back."

Food was nice , drink was expensive Was woke early by plumbing from the downstairs bathroom. The bed mattress was a bit tired on the one side , and I did feel like I was rolling off the edge through the night ."

"The 3 salmons was a lovely hotel ,beautiful gardens and rooms, lady on front of house was lovely a real Gem, happy to help with a smile, our room was lovely and clean looking over the gardens, only odd thing was no wardrobe in bedroom,, we went to a wedding and called back for a couple more drinks before bed, to find everything locked up, after ringing to bell, the gentleman told us,,,, if we go out we can't get back in, we surprised us, 🤷 so bed we went"

"Met up with some work people for dinner. Pub has a nice feeling about it and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers. The food was pretty average though. I had a prawn cocktail which was drowned in sauce and a steak which whilst cooked ok, lacked flavour. In summary, not the best meal i’ve ever had."

"Awful. Do not go to Raglan Lodge! I do not understand why Buyagift includes such a shady and incompetent hotel to be included in its list of choices. I checked into Raglan Lodge for a two night stay in mid March and received a parking notice charge from the car park operator Parking Eye. I specifically gave the receptionist my car registration number to avoid problems. However,despite sending my receipt as evidence that I was a guest at the hotel, Parking Eye stated that this was insufficient evidence! And now I have a fine!!!! There is obviously no communication between the parking operator and Raglan Lodge. I emailed my concerns to Raglan Lodge but have received no reply. A truly shameful hotel chain that should be promoted by no organisation! An appalling and time wasting experience.... shameful!!!"
