"A lovely overnight stay at the Cwrt Bleddyn after a friend’s local party.Very pleased to stay in the main hotel rather than the annexe where I had stayed before . Bed was really comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We took advantage of the swimming pool and Rajesh on the welcome desk of the swimming pool/ gym was so very helpful. Thank you Rajesh! We will definitely return."

"5 people stayed in 3 separate rooms. First impressions the stair carpet to the rooms was extremely dirty had not been cleaned for some considerable time. The stairs themselves are steep and winding and somewhat dangerous in places having steps right outside the door of the twin. The whole place was cold and in need of a good clean. The central heating did come on but only luke warm. The beds were comfortable and the bedding clean and of good quality. The shower rooms were strange with more steps into the shower. The road is busy and therefore very noisy early. The breakfast was dreadful. Ordered items missing, toast was still white had to ask to redo, ingredients were of poor quality, cheap and greasy and Luke warm. For £99 per room, including the twin with single occupancy it was grossly overpriced. Would not return or recommend."

"Very attentive staff, one was abit pushy for a tip... at the prices I felt we was already paying a premium. Food was nice , drink was expensive Was woke early by plumbing from the downstairs bathroom. The bed mattress was a bit tired on the one side , and I did feel like I was rolling off the edge through the night ."

"Good parts - Lovely room, enjoyed the food we bought in the evening (although pricey for the portion sizes). Staff in general friendly. Bad parts -no warning about loud noise from a party night. This kept me awake till after midnight and this was supposed to be a relaxing get away for us. Breakfast - very strange, no cereal, fruit or pastries etc. You aren't given a menu or asked what you would like. Just given an basic English breakfast (the produce did seem local & good though) with tea/coffee. Disappointed with breakfast. I was very cold in the restaurant both in the evening and morning at breakfast. Felt like I needed to wear a coat to be warm. Lastly, we weren't asked how our stay was. I would liked the opportunity to tell them about the lack of sleep due to the loud party at a minimum. My husband recommended this hotel to me after staying many times during COVID. He admitted a noticeable change since then and we agreed to probably wouldn't return now."

"Absolutely first rate meal in the most beautiful setting! We arrived to such a friendly welcome from Kellie, Kieron and the rest of the staff, and we were sat on the terrace looking over the gardens. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff were so attentive. We all had a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes, and we couldn’t fault anything, the food was delicious. There is so much space in the grounds with different cozy rooms and two terraces. The accommodation looks great too and we would definitely stay in future as we could see that the rooms looked lovely. We’ wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it (and we will to everyone we know, especially those with dogs as the dog paddock is such a good idea. "We stayed here on a work trip down to our south office. We were greeted by an extremely friendly and pleasant member of staff. He took us up to show us our rooms, had a table reserved for us incase we wanted to stay for food and sorted us out with a nice cold beer ! The breakfast we had in the morning was unbelievable, we had to shoot off early the next morning but they offered a takeaway bacon roll if we wanted it. The room was great, clean and tidy. Really enjoyed the stay ! Will definitely book again"

"OK...It's not the Ritz...but its fifty quid. Try finding a bigger, better, cleaner room for less. Its perfectly acceptable, comfortable etc. Lower your expectations, keep the price in mind and you'll be just fine. Yes its a little shabby and run on a budget in places, but as I say, remember the price. I personally enjoyed my room and my stay, had a great night sleep and would 1000% return when back in this part of Wales."
