VG. If I could, I'd give it a 4.25 or 4.5. Great location- one block to the beach & the big fishing and concession pier. Great staff, reasonable price. Some of the furniture (at least in our room) was kind of beat. Otherwise, the room was fine. Decent pool & pool hours. No elevator, if that's an issue for you, be sure to get 1st floor.

The beds were comfortable. Slept well. For being newly remodeled, it is already showing major wear. We moved to 3 rooms. First one was 2nd floor and no elevator. We just had a lot of stuff and needed a rolling cart. Second room had a broken safe. Third room was fine. Pool was heated and very swimable. The string lights had 10 burnt out bulbs on a string of 20. The cushions were already flat and needed replaced. Whomever remodeled this hotel did it very cheaply and it shows. The sitting chairs in the rooms all had the left arm worn off...all three rooms. No breakfast served. Did have free water to refill your water bottles and extra coffee in the lobby.

This hotel is a long block from the beach. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. All the workers at the desk were very friendly and helpful. I think the rooms have been renovated but some of the furniture still needs replacing. This hotel is in a good location. It was in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The pool and pool area was clean.

This hotel is no frills but clean and centrally located to everything on Tybee. Great value, king bed, fridge & microwave, hard floors (smart with the beach and wetness on the island) we had zero issues during our stay, and we were even able to check in early. We arrived mid morning and they were happy to give us a parking pass for their lot prior to check in. They called a few hours later to tell us our room was ready even though I told them we didn't require an early check in (it wasn't their fault we were early and we were happy to explore the area). We did not intend to check in early but it was available. They were very accommodating and I couldn't be more thankful.

Our first stay at Admirals Inn was very good. The location is fantastic, the rooms are very clean, the renovated bathroom featured a rain forest shower, and the staff was very friendly and competent. It seems as if their full time housekeeper does a terrific job turning over very clean rooms. Several small issues may bother other travelers but did not bother us. There is no elevator, the AC is good but not really cold and the furniture is a bit worn. Those things didn’t bother us because the price was$100-150 cheaper than other nearby properties. The location cannot be beat because you can walk to the beach, restaurants and shops in minutes. Parking is insane and expensive at Tybee so the hotel’s prime location parking is a game changer. Well done. We would come back.

What a s## hole. The rooms stink of mildew! Room not well kept. A/c would not turn off. Had to leave at midnight 😪 won't go again!

Excellent staff, room was clean, smelled very good. Bathroom was clean, air conditioner was very cold, beds were so comfortable. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, liquor store, bars and beach. (Doc's Bar was THE BEST with a live blues band). Sunrise Restaurant had an amazing breakfast buffet and I hightly recommend Stingray's and Treylor Park restaurants. The hotel had a nice pool, a great cold water machine where you could fill your water bottle, vending machines and a nice exercise room. i will be coming back for another stay!

It was clean, good AC, friendly staff, clean pool. It has fantastic breakfast places walking out the door. Being right on Butler Ave. Hwy 80 makes it convenient to walk to beach, shoppes and attractions. We’d come back.

The location was great- much closer than I expected. However… when we entered our room, the smell of bleach hit us in the face as was so strong our eyes burned. The beds were comfy but the pillows were hard as rocks. There were stains on the sheets and tears on the furniture. The best feature was the shower, which I could tell was newer. The couch area at the pool was not well kept. There is a shower at the pool which was nice. I would consider staying again if improvements were made.
