"The email that I never had a response to… I would not recommend. Good morning. My husband and I recently stayed at Bellbry Lodge, from the the 12th to 16th and wanted to share some feed back with you. For the most part our stay was good. Lovely accommodation, nice linens etc - however - and this was the drawcard for us staying with you over other accommodation I had been looking at was the private plunge pool. We were most upset to be unable to use it at all, as it was freezing and then to hear that friends of ours who were staying at a resort at Palm Cove (where we were going to stay) were in fact swimming in their pool at their accommadation. I splurged on Bellbry purely for the private pool and could of stayed elsewhere for considerably less and swam. If your website had said, that the pool was subject to seasonal swimming I would have booked somewhere we could have swam. Appreciated the wine and the nibbles left."

"It is a correct place, in a very quiet neighborhood. The published photos nearly correspond to the place. The good: there is no noise, it is spacious, it has a very well-equipped kitchen, the bed is good, the bathroom is spacious. What we didn't like: we were 3 adults, the person who slept on the sofa bed had very average nights. It was very uncomfortable; the person would slide because it was not horizontal and did not have enough support. The room was never cleaned, even having a carpet, not a wood floor as showed int the photos. They left us a vacuum, but we expected a minimum of cleaning for a week. It was our responsibility, even, to take out the trash. We had a washing machine, but it was dirty, the clothes came out stained. There is a terrace, full of dust, leaves and dirt. There are no functional elevators. Although we were on the lower floor, I can't imagine the discomfort for those who have rooms on higher floors, carrying luggage up the stairs. The pool does not look clean. It's pretty, but it looks like settled water, which doesn't inspire confidence about cleanliness. It is in the middle of plants, which drop leaves and look yellow. The beach is not as close as it seems in the description or as suggested by the hotel name. The bathroom does not have comfortable spaces for use by 3 people. The amenities are the most basic and of very standard quality. We did not expect this quality of accommodation, considering the location and the price paid. There is no safe box and reception availability is limited."

"Needs renovation. Outdated. Very small minded management. No late check out without payment even though room wasn't cleaned [we were waiting in pool area] . Room not cleaned between first reservation and second time check in 2 days later in same room. Not even nappiestaken out from rubbish bin or toilet cleaned. Air con in main bedroom not working. No smoke alarm attached in main bed room. And then manager decided to play a little power and control game while 2 women who had stayed a total of 6 nights, were waiting and reading quietly by the pool and told by 12 to leave. Our flight only at 5. Told to "pack up". Both of us years in hospitality and international hotel management. Never encountered such rudeness. Suggest managers in the job too long. And, rarely at reception."

"Advantages: The location is good, the beach is just across the street. The sea view on the 4th floor is very wide, and the forest view on the other side is also very good. Disadvantages: The hotels in this area were generally renovated before 2010. Compared with the Airlie Beach Hotel, the furniture and facilities are relatively old, and there is no 24-hour front desk compared with a five-star hotel. We also encountered several minor problems during our stay: 1. The elevator was broken, and the hotel negotiated with me through Ctrip to help me move to another hotel next door, but I could not get any information about the hotel next door from Ctrip, and I thought the 3rd floor was okay at the time, so I did not agree to change the hotel, but when I arrived and checked in, I found that they had changed me to the 4th floor without confirming with me, and the 4th floor here is equivalent to the 5th floor in China, and it became a great burden to carry so many large pieces of luggage upstairs; 2. Before booking, I confirmed through Ctrip that they could help me add a bed in the master bedroom, so I booked the hotel, but after checking in, I found that there was no extra bed, no 24-hour front desk, and I could only sleep on the sofa. The next day, I learned from Ctrip that the bed was too heavy to move up because the elevator was broken, but this situation was not informed to me in advance. Ctrip also gave me a 400 yuan voucher for compensation, which can only be said to be better than nothing; 3. When I took a shower on the first night, the faucet handle broke due to rust when I pulled it and hit my foot, which was very painful. On the second night, when I took a shower, there was no hot water after the fourth person, and I waited for 1 hour but still no hot water."

"Located in a prime location on Trinity Beach, this hotel boasts incredibly spacious rooms. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit with three people and it was a truly comfortable, resort-style experience. While there's no hotel restaurant, the nearby restaurants offering breakfast and dinner are fantastic! There are several options, so you don't need to worry about eating in town. However, be aware that they close around 9 PM. For breakfast, I recommend The Beach House. For dinner, I recommend Italicious. The parking is underground and automatically opens and closes with a key. You can park directly below your room. There's plenty of space. However, the hotel staff are completely hands-off, so you'll need to wash and dry your own towels (they have washing machines, dryers, vacuum cleaners, dishes, dishwashers, etc., providing a normal living environment with detergent provided). There's no bed-making service, so it's not suitable for those who require that. Finally, you even have to take out your own trash! Apparently, you'll be charged later if you don't (lol). This was the most comfortable room I've ever stayed in!"
