"Very nice hotel located on a beautiful beach. The room could be a bit more modern but the common areas are just perfect: 2 beautiful pools, very good restaurant with lots of choice, lovely lounge on the restaurant rooftop and an amazing beach. A few points to improve: - not enough sun-beds on the beach (but plenty at the pool) - personnel at reception very kind but do not speak very well English and is not very helpful. We wanted to rent quad bikes and we got told there was no availability. We walked 10 minutes to another hotel where they gave us the phone number of the company doing the quad trip on the beach. A lovely place for a stop over between Jericoacoara and Fortaleza!"

"Rede Beach Holiday August- September 2026 Once again we couldn’t wait for our annual holiday in our favourite hotel complex, Rede Beach in Guajiru, a small fishing village in Ceará, north east, Brazil, just 3 degrees below the equator, but with cooling Atlantic breezes to keep it very comfortable. We have been taking our holidays here for almost 20 years. Rede Beach gets better every year, which is almost unbelievable as it was amazing in the first place. We really can’t fault it, (nor can any friends or family who have been here with us), and if we’re lucky enough to get our favourite room, (39), we’re in our little paradise, as it has its own private balcony, little beach and 4 person outdoor Jacuzzi, overlooking the main beach, and ocean, with hugely varied views of life passing by. The latest alterations and improvements included a weekly children’s cinema, seated on beanbags on one of the main lawns, in view of parents from the fantastic restaurant and large pool, both next to the beautiful beach that stretches for miles both ways, and is ideal for assisted Beach Buggy or quad bike trips, possibly including river crossings and Sand Dune rides. One not to miss is the river trip in Mundau, where further up the river, indigenous people secretly live, combine it with the other trip described below and you’ll have an amazing afternoon/evening. Rede Beach reception will advise and arrange these and other trips for you, with local trusted ‘Buggieros’ (buggy owner/drivers) members of the local Buggy association. Also ask about the evening sunset Dune trips, and the special one to Mundau, for the sunset viewing to see the sun set down into the ocean, the long water slides down into the safe river below, then dine on local oysters and macaxeira ( local cross between potato and swede, deep fried like chips, but much better) on the beach or on the edge of the river table and chairs or water hammocks. You can then watch a procession of 4x4’s, buggies and motorcycles trying to drive up the sand dunes to get back to the roads, and as it gets dark, sit around the large bonfire, drinking your beer or cocktails, an experience, I promise, you will never forget. More buggy trips in the other direction take you to Lagoinha or Lagoa Almeichicas, where at weekends it’s a crazy place, with tin roof, open ‘restaurants’, next to a huge lake, with ferry trips, towed floating banana rides, a floating shop, loud music, cheap food and drinks, with an amazing, unforgettable Brasilian atmosphere. It’s not fine dining, but great fun and a proper look at local life. On the other hand there are lots of good restaurants, including Italian, seafood and of course the amazing menu at Rede Beach itself. Another alternative at ‘RB’ is their recently redeveloped Beach Club, a more relaxed place, mainly aimed at the kite surfers, who enjoy this amazing experience, with different menu and music, on the beach terrace or upstairs for beautiful sunset views, because it’s known as the "
