"This is the first time I've been so eager to write a bad review. First, Tonghua Railway Station has moved, so be aware if you're planning to book a room near the station. Second, the sheets in my first room had patches! One in the middle and a large one on the side; I only noticed it halfway through my sleep because it was uncomfortable. I called the front desk to have a new sheet, but security guard brought up a duvet cover! After realizing they'd brought the wrong one, they brought me two more duvet covers! When I asked, they said they didn't have any extra sheets! Such a large hotel, so stingy that they patched up the sheets and didn't even have spare linens?? The room smelled strongly of smoke, and the sound of the drain from upstairs was deafening. The second night, I changed rooms, but there was still a huge, waterfall-like draining sound. I saw two empty rooms on the platform and asked the front desk if I could switch rooms. The front desk told me that the two rooms were actually one, just different prices and room types; no matter which room a customer booked, they would get the same one. The price difference between the two rooms was a full 100 yuan. In summary, if you want to be exploited like a victim, want to smell secondhand smoke, want to sleep on uncomfortable sheets, or want to fall asleep to the sound of a waterfall, then come on over!"

"The old hotel in Tonghua City, the facilities are good, the parking lot is very large, suitable for self-driving, but I have to complain here, the room is arranged on the second floor of the annex building on the east side. The damp and moldy smell in the corridor is very big, it seems that no one lives for a long time or the ventilation is very poor. There is also a smell in the room, and people with sensitive smell will be very concerned."

"I stayed at the Tonghua Yunfeng Hotel for two days, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel has its own parking lot, making it convenient to enter and exit. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, with a rest and meeting area and four kinds of health-preserving teas. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients. What impressed me most was their service. Whether it was the front desk staff, restaurant staff, or housekeeping staff, everyone greeted me with a smile and was always ready to help. They truly embodied the hotel's service motto: "Craftsmanship is found in every detail, and sincerity is shown in every service." In particular, Mr. Ma at the front desk was thoughtful and meticulous, resolving my problem in a flash. I was very touched!"

Tonghua Wanfeng Swiss Hotel
"First, the advantages: it's close to the ski resort, about 100 meters away. The room was very warm, which is also an advantage, considering the outdoor temperature in Tonghua is currently below -20 degrees Celsius. The disadvantages: First, the front desk service was poor 👎. When we checked in, we were given a very small room with a small window, making it feel very cramped. We were changed to a slightly better room at our request, about 20 square meters. On the day we checked in, it was a Sunday. After returning from the hot springs at 10 pm, we called the front desk to ask about breakfast hours. We called five or six times, but the phone rang once or twice before being silenced. We couldn't call room service or the restaurant either, as the phone rang but no one answered. I went to the guestroom office on the third floor and asked a staff member, who told me it was from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The next morning, we went down for breakfast at 9:40 am, but the restaurant had already closed. At our request, we were given a few pieces of bread and the remaining pastries. I complained to the front desk, and they just gave us a fruit platter. Also, the room was poorly cleaned; the photo shows how the bed was made when we returned the next day."

Wangchunshan Xiyue Hot Spring Hotel
"Early this morning, I wrote this review in anger. Objectively speaking, the environment was nice, the hotel design was excellent, and it was indeed beautiful with the autumn colors. However! The overall hotel management was a complete mess. From check-in, they gave us the wrong room, and the front desk even directed our car to drive on the sidewalk and across a wooden bridge. Room cleaning was extremely slow. The room had been used as a wedding room the day before, and the "double happiness" decorations hadn't been cleaned. Because we were extending our stay, we asked the staff to clean the room at 10 am, and the front desk readily agreed. However, after repeated reminders at 3 pm, the room wasn't cleaned. The cleaning process wasn't exactly unprofessional, but it was downright haphazard. Two women, probably locals who had just finished husking corn, came and cleaned very slowly. They even forgot to change the toilet paper. The door was open the entire time, allowing many flies and insects to fly in. The remnants of yesterday's wedding fireworks on the lawn outside the hotel stayed with us until we left, and no one cleaned them up. The hotel claims it's not officially open yet and lacks staff, but since it opened during the National Day holiday with increased prices, why should consumers have to endure such a terrible experience? It's unbelievable that a company under China Resources could be managed like this. Upon further inquiry, it was revealed that the local operating company in Tonghua was handling the matter. Hopefully, the hotel will improve in the future. After the opening of the Chenbai High-Speed Railway, I don't want tourists from the south who come specifically for the stunning scenery to see such jaw-dropping service."
