Affordable price near to all convenient location

Everything was well organized. The directions were specific, the staff were very helpful and spoke English fluently, location was perfect, the room was clean and set up to the way it was ordered, great price for the amount time stayed, all the amenities in the room worked perfectly. It was like staying in an apartment.

This was one of the weirdest stays we've ever had. The "hotel" doesn't have a check-in desk on site. You actually check in at "Hotel Empire in Shinjuku" which is a few blocks away on a different street, which is not really made clear at all when booking. Also you have to give a ¥10,000 yen deposit at check-in, which is a first for me living in Japan. My wife checked in before me and said it was a really strange experience and that she felt unsafe in the area surrounding the hotel alone as a female at night. The hotel room itself is incredibly narrow and the walls are INCREDIBLY thin. There are doors between each room and the next, and there is a gap between those doors and the floor which is so wide that light shines through from other guests' "apartments" and that I could hear the neighboring guest cough/clear his throat quite loudly even though he wasn't doing it all that loud. It sounded like he was in our room. Despite the room being narrow, it *is* long, so it doesn't feel super tiny. There was also a loft with another bed that we didn't climb up to because the note by the ladder made it seem like a dangerous liability that somehow the guest is responsible for rather than the hotel... As far as amentities go, however, you have a washing machine, a microwave, fridge, and a desktop PC that I guess is available to use, but we didn't turn it on. It was definitely a weird experience in general that I wouldn't repeat.

It's convenient to move around and very close to Okubo Station. There are many convenient facilities nearby and Don Quijote is also nearby. It's convenient because the bathroom is separate.

Spacious room, polite staff, close to different metro lines, quiet street. Airy bed, everything worked. The only thing was it was a little stuffy, because our room was on the 1st floor of the break with the smoking room (when opening the shutters, someone else's smoke always flew in.

The accommodation is very good, but it is divided into building A and B, which is very inconvenient. There is no one in building B. Someone banged on the door in the middle of the night. It was really scary...

The name sounds grand, but I feel a bit cheated. It's actually a homestay, very noisy, and the environment is bad.

The price was cheap and the location was good. However, I was confused because the location of the front desk was different.

The front desk and accommodation are not in the same place

Even if you pay 10,000 yen as a deposit and receive it, where will you use that money after your trip ends? Instead, even if you leave your passport, you won't receive any tax-free benefits.

The hotel is located near Okubo Station, but the check-in location is the same but in a different place, which is strange. Moreover, the hotel is only a 2-star hotel, but it requires a $10,000 deposit when checking in. I stayed for several nights in a row, and one of them was booked. The notice asked me to clean the place myself, otherwise I would be fined. I have never been in a hotel that was so polite, and I cleaned it myself. When I checked out, the staff asked me to pay a fine of $35,000. I already said that the cleaning was completed, and I argued in the end so that I was not fined. I don’t want to come back again!

The room is really small, with a window but it is dark and can't be opened. The service is satisfactory, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and they are also responsible for temporarily storing the suitcases when I leave. It is close to the station and there are small restaurants and convenience stores around for shopping.
