"The apartments are very shabby and the bed was disgusting not mattress protector and dirty marks on mattress, housekeeping are unhelpful and do as little as possible, hit or a miss if you get towels or loo roll ... this is a pity as the grounds are beautiful, the food, Bar are excellent and the pool is very clean."

"Lovely hotel for 4 night break. Everything we needed. Good sized room with plenty of wardrobe space, hangers, a small fridge freezer to keep our water cold. Great aircon. Alexandra was a lovely host - very welcoming, helpful and kind - she was also super responsive to email queries we sent before we arrived. She kindly put us in a lovely room at the back of the hotel so it was nice and quiet - and we had a great balcony looking up towards the hills (and the pool) - so we enjoyed relaxing and both swallow/swift and bat watching! Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Room was much bigger than anticipated with lots of wardrobe / hanging space etc. Breakfast was simple but ideal to start the day - Greek yoghurt, tinned peaches and honey; toast with jams (or you could have cheese/boiled eggs), cereal, cake. For us the location was perfect. Not in the centre so not at all noisy, but less than 10 min to walk to the sea. Honestly we weren’t sure what to expect for a 2* hotel and this exceeded our expectations! Thank you Alexandra and your lovely team ☺️"

"We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks holiday staying at the Paradise village in Roda. There is not one thing we can fault at the beautiful villa we stayed in,which had two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a very functional kitchen.  The beds were extremely comfortable and the peaceful location led to some really good nights sleep.the kitchen had everything you needed and a table with 4 chairs but the large patio was our favourite place to spend an evening when not dining out. The manager Yvonne was an absolute diamond, she was always there if we had any queries also a very friendly Lady who always stopped for a little chat.   We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Paradise Village to anyone.  "

"We recently visited Kyma Suites for a five night break. The spacious rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and all with amazing sea views. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and varied, and the team of staff were always welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a really fun time at the barbecue which was held at the sister hotel 1km away (THALASSA SUITES) The location is ideal, close to the beach and a couple of local restaurants, yet quiet and relaxing. We would love to return one day and I’m sure we will!"

Kosmas Apartments

"Start with the good stuff the food was very good as always and apartments are very clean We’ve been staying at Kosmas on and off since 2017, but I’m afraid I will not be returning after this year, arrived at the apartments with no working air-conditioning this was included in the price of the new deluxe rooms was told it would be fixed unfortunately unit had to be replaced but still didn’t work correctly I was told every day that it would be fixed which meant we spent the whole week with no air-conditioning which was unbearable because of the heat wave,We were offered a fan and no compensation not even a good will drink or apology,I did ask to be moved on several occasions but was told they were at full capacity and there was nowhere for us to be moved to. All the years I’ve been coming here I always felt like they really cared about there guests this time was made to feel like I was a just a nuisance."

Nireas Resort Corfu

"The apartments are really well situated in Acharavi, a minute or two from the beach and the same up to the main road with the supermarket. They are typically basic Greek self catering apartments. We expected that based on the reviews and the price so there were no big surprises. We had a two bedroom apartment which we thought was spacious and would comfortably have slept 4-5 people without everyone tripping over each other and the terrace was equally big. The shower was a plus point, very big and plenty of hot water at any time of day. The pool area was nice. We didn’t use it much as preferred the beach but we used it once or twice and it was sheltered, a nice big clean pool, and the pool bar had a decent selection of food and drink for the daytime. There were some minor disappointments. The apartment had very little kitchen equipment, no toaster or even a bottle opener. The kettle lid was broken though useable. We possibly could have asked and got the items we wanted but just managed without, but for those that use the facilities more it could be a problem. The apartment didn’t feel or look overly clean. Nothing terrible but it just felt like it needed a good scrub. I’m not sure the floor was mopped in the time we were there. Bins were emptied every couple of days which is fine except for the bathroom bin which really needed sorting daily and has been everywhere we’ve stayed previously. Towels were changed every couple of days and the bedding weekly. Again would have been nice for an extra bedding change as was very hot, but not the end of the world. All in all it was very good value for what we paid. If it has cost much more, and I have seen it priced much higher for other weeks (and not just in school holidays) then the minor issues would be more of a problem but all in all for location and apartment size it was very good value."
