"What a remarkable transformation. We visited yesterday and chose two of the special omelettes, and it was a delight to see such imaginative dishes available beyond the usual menu offerings. The food was beautifully presented and arrived promptly, which only added to the experience. A particular mention must go to Deane and Elliott, whose service was exemplary throughout, as well as the young lady behind the bar, who was exceptionally courteous and professional. Their warmth and attentiveness made our visit all the more enjoyable. A thoroughly impressive experience from start to finish. We look forward to returning again very soon."

"Lovely pub in the village of Curridge. Very comfortable rooms, lovely touch a fabulous aircon fan which was so needed with the lovely hot weather. James is the General Manager who is an asset to the business. His team are are all hardworking and very nice. Met Peter one of the Housekeeping team, had some lovely chats with him. Breakfasts were very nice and so was our meal in the restaurant on the Friday evening. Plenty of seating throughout and car parking. Would stay again if attending Newbury Races."

"We first visited this lovely village pub/restaurant over 10 years ago and since then it's had a major refurb - amazing walled garden (great for the kids to play in), light-filled atrium dining room and really lovely private dining room, which is were we were for a family celebration. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - weaving through small children and serving delicious food and drinks. We decided to stay in a garden room - so pleased we did! Lovely, large room with sparkling bathroom and really good shower. Crisp, white bedlinen and a comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. Nothing nicer than pottering out of the bedroom in the morning, with a cup of coffee, to sit in the charming, private walled garden. Thank you so much for creating such a memorable visit - we will be back!"
