"Hotel Taescherhof is located right next to the train station. From Tasch Train Station, you can hop on a 12-minute shuttle train to Zermatt. The shuttle train operates every 20 minutes during day time and runs till at least 10pm. Our hotel room has a balcony facing the train track but there was minimum noise when the train passing by. The hotel is very clean and the room is way over 300 sq ft with a balcony. I enjoyed their breakfast and the 3-minute walk to board the train. We met 3 front desk staff and they were all friendly and spoke perfect English."

"Upon check-in, we were informed that our room had been upgraded to a different hotel, about a 2-3 minute walk away. I was a bit unhappy at first, but the service at the new hotel was great, they even offered drinks, and the room was very clean and new, with a nice view too. Overall, it was a very good experience."
