Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II Reviews

The room sucks! Will never go again. Very poor room quality and cheap design. My mom complained the whole night and day. Will never go again.

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because "the hotel is closed for the day". When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered "because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number". This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

Very nice staffs, great location with shopping centers and restaurants around, closed to night market. Free parking lot. highly recommended if you are planning to stay in Taitung for your vacation with your friends/family

Very good location . Just in front of the main bus station . Suitable for those who need public transport . Breakfast is so so n room is not very clean n slightly small .

Very good & clean hotel

Not far from the hotel is Tiehua Village, where there are stalls and performances at night, which is fun and lively! There are Xiuli and many restaurants nearby, which makes shopping and eating convenient. The room is not big, just right for one night.

The location is quite advantageous, close to Tiehua Village and Showtime Cinemas, but parking is inconvenient nearby. Parking is convenient near the County Stadium, and it takes about ten minutes to walk here from there.

The hotel is located in the city center. The rooms are clean and bright. There is a department store next to it, which makes it convenient for dining out. Jiale Brown and Quanlian are nearby. There is a railway exhibition opposite, which can be visited freely.

The hotel's breakfast is a buffet, and the latest dining time is 9:30, which is very considerate. The bed is nice and I slept very comfortably. You have to report early to get a parking space ~Otherwise you can only go to the nearby public parking spaces, $10 an hour is not expensive ~

The room was industrial style, the bed was very comfortable, and I just slept on the side of the high floor. There were two windows that were open for good ventilation, and I could see the sea from afar. The other end faced the transfer station, and it was New Year's Day, and I saw people setting off fireworks from afar. The breakfast was delicious, and there were drinks and coffee machines downstairs, as well as a microwave to heat up the food brought from outside. The transfer station was across the street, which was convenient for taking a bus. There were also Ubikes nearby, so it was also good to ride a bicycle around the city. The overall experience was great, and there were also introductions to nearby food downstairs. You could eat Mengwan porridge next to it, which had a long queue.

The service staff are very friendly and attentive. Stayed 2 nights in a row, breakfast changed every other day, location is very good, you can walk around Taitung downtown. The bathroom uses soft water, which is really slippery!
