This hotel, while on the older side with standard facilities, truly shines in its cleanliness. Everything felt well-maintained and spotless, which is always a huge plus. The breakfast offers a good variety of options, which is a definite highlight. You'll find many choices, including an egg and danbing (********* egg pancake) station, which is a nice touch. While the selection is plentiful, keep in mind that the quality is standard, so don't expect gourmet fare. Its location is a bit of a mixed bag. If you're arriving by train, be aware that it's quite a distance from the Taichung Train Station. However, for those relying on public transport, you'll find it incredibly convenient with bus and MRT stations very close by. There's also a nice park nearby, which is great for a pleasant stroll or some fresh air. Overall, it's a good option, especially if your plans keep you in this specific area of Taichung's East District. However, if your main objective is proximity to the Taichung Train Station, you might find other hotels in a similar price range that are more conveniently located.

Location is good with lots of foodie around the hotel. Though the hotel is a bit old but it is well maintained and big in size. Breakfast is normal though.

Absolutely beautiful room - spacious, clean and comfortable. Very pleased with the accommodation at Zhong Ke Hotel in Taiwan.

Average stay at the hotel. Though its a old hotel, it is reasonably maintained. Plus point is there is a famous yakiniku just beside the hotel, worth the try!

Great location, the neibhourhood park is a must go place, and many conviences stores and supermarkets. The MRT is only 5 minute walk, can lead to Costco, and Center Centre. Still the best for me and my sons are the leisure and game room, with such a wonder video game machine called "Supreme X Galloping", we played the "Final Fight" in the final night with so much more fun!

The price is reasonable. Same price for all room types 😅. We got executive suite - 2 rooms 1 toilet with bath tub. Simple hotel. Typical Taiwan breakfast.

Very old fashioned hotel like 80s style. But it has everything you need. Spacious room, free parking, nice breakfast. Pretty much good enough for a short stay

Overall a nice stay at zhong ke. Our 6 pax oom is really big with a separate living room area. Breakfast not much variety but food quality is good. Hotel is japanese style.

Good location and breakfast changed daily. Underground parking was convenient. Staff were generally helpful and they spoke Japanese which was a pleasant surprise.

Hotel is conveniently located about 5 mins walk to mrt station. Room is spacious and clean but furnitures are old. Carpet has lots of stain. No shower screen in bath tub. Not much varieties for breakfast. Had made tea during breakfast from hot water dispenser and later found there was no tea colour in cup. Then realised water was not hot at all. Informed staff and they checked and discovered dispenser was faulty.
