"Me and my family enjoyed our stay here. The staff are nice. The room is clean and big, the amenities are complete. The hotel allow us to leave our baggages and allow additional guests with reasonable price. The staff are easy to approach with and very convenient to stay. It's near on the metro mall. The WiFi is too fast and we had a memorable night with my family. I really recommend this hotel. Perfect staycation for family."

"The so called ”discounted” rate from Trip was in fact higher than the walk in rate. Breakfast was not included. The walk in rate included breakfast. There are very few hotel options in Tacloban. Asia Stars is ok. Not great, not bad, It's ok for 1-2 nights not more as the rooms are very small."

"Love the quiet place old but well kept .. service is good on site restaurant is good . Would have expected more from amenities for standard room. Even the cheapest hotels i have used before provide basics like daily water ..For the price of their standard would have expected more. Room had sugar ants apparently attracted by my donuts previous visits were un eventful last visit was marginal"

"Me and my Wife went to Tacloban to see her family. This place was located next to beach resort, not far from shopping mall and lots of food places around. Also there's a 7/11 4min walking distance. AC wast the best, but kept me cool. Has WiFi although description say opposite. I would reckoned it if you need cheap place to just sleep at and next to beach. And very close to airport. "

"Nice location rooms are clean staff friendly and helpful only issue is our first room the door malfunctioned and jammed closed and would not unlock staff gave us another room was without our belongings all night until the next morning when they was able to finally get the first rooms door opened this is my second stay at this hotel things happen I would stay again"

And I could not have wished for a better place.
Really big rooms with everything you need.
And the pool area is just amazing.
Only thing I regret is that I could not stay longer ;)

GGuest UserThe hotei is located at the Robinson Place Mall in Tacloban. It is just a short 10 minute drive to the airport. It has parking in front of the hotel and lots of parking at the adjacent mall. The mall has lot’s of restaurants and lot’s of shopping and services. The hotel is inexpensive and yet has comfortable beds and bathrooms. Comes with free WiFi and cable tv. Staff is efficient and friendly. Just a good place to stay when spending a night in Tacloban and staying within your budget.

DDa Ppl’s Champ.Overall, it was a nice experience due to the polite staff; nevertheless, the room was unkempt, had no window, and provided limited amenities. The buffet also offered a limited selection of food items. The staff needed to continue tidying the room. Thanks, Ironwood; see you again next time!

IIlyaI chose this hotel because the description on trip.com stated the year of construction was 2023. But this is definitely a mistake. The room look very tired, unkempt, dirty.
For one night it's ok, but it shouldn't cost $25, at least 2 times cheaper

GGuest UserThe hotel is generally fine. We enjoyed spending the night for sleeping. Staff are helpful, friendly and courteous. The rates are also low.
However, improvements on the food service is needed as the time coverage is limited. No breakfast offered earlier thank 10 AM. The TV has no cable nor accounts for streaming. The guest has to have its own account/code to access it. WIFI is also good but passwords are valid only 24 hours. Can be connected again for another password - a minor inconvenience.
