"We wanted to spend a few days spontaneously to relax (walking, saunating, swimming) in Thüringen. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city and offers a small swimming pool and two saunas. Unfortunately, the bathroom is not always useful, as an external provider temporarily uses the hall bath for applications. However, you can use the public leisure bath tabs for free daily. This is only 5 minutes away. Also the ride with the forest track to the valley of the European Royal Houses , the residential city of Gotha is possible for free. We had booked HP and were very satisfied with breakfast and dinner. Also the rooms were beautiful and clean. We noticed nothing of the luminousness of the rooms (as others wrote). The price/performance ratio we felt very good. Specially friendly is the staff. At the reception we were very friendly. The staff was very premature in the restaurant. We were very happy to let us out on the entrance before the wooden fireplace, with Mrs. Fried from the reception very well arrived and have learned a lot. Also Bad Tabarz is suitable as a courtyard below the large island mountain for walks. For us it was relaxing, beautiful days. We will certainly visit this hotel again."

"I was there 2 times for a night and both stays were perfect. Friendly staff, very good food (especially the meal of the day, typically something from the region is recommended). You get a spacious and clean room, quiet sleep. Location of hotel is away from roads traffic. Super for stop overs with motorbike, you can park conveniently outside. Price is very fair and breakfast is very good. Recommend it"

"Price performance was absolutely OK and breakfast was also super. It needed a housemaster who could once remove the spinning tissues around the swimming pool in the outer area. The beds outside were partially broken and two pieces are too little."
