"The worst behaved hotel in Sylhet. We are a family of 4 travelling from London. I had booked the hotel in May 2025 and received a paid online booking confirmation. We were due to stay at the hotel from 23 to 29/12/2025. Less than a day before arrival in the early hours of 22/12/2025 I was notified by the online booking agent that Rose View had cancelled our reservation as they had overbooked their rooms. By this time I was already in Dhaka awaiting my domestic flight to Sylhet. I had phoned Rose View directly and was informed by the night manager that BPL had reserved 95 pct of the rooms at the hotel and they had to cancel some guest reservations. Despite telling him that this is too short notice I was told to call later and speak to the duty manager. When I spoke to the duty manager he didn’t want to listen and started blaming the online agent for submitting the booking late. I then told him I have email confirmation from his hotel dated 02/12/2025 of my reservation and airport pick up arrangement. He then didn’t know what to say and then said I need to speak to their Sales Manager and not him. I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of this hotel. That they were not truthful and they cancelled with a few hours notice. They placed profit before humanity. All responsible will be held accountable for their actions in the hereafter. If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, please think carefully as I wouldn’t like anyone else to experience the stress I and my family had gone through."

"Royal Mark Hotel successfully hosted our Rotaplast Medical Mission team for 2 full weeks. They provided comfortable, peaceful accommodations in the bustling city of Sylhet. Every staff member we encountered went above & beyond with professional, thoughtful service. The restaurant provided delicious breakfast/dinner buffet daily & lunch service at the hospital, the conference room provide an place for us to meet daily for debriefs and a beautiful rooftop garden for our farewell dinner. The hotel stayed busy with other guests throughout our stay but they appropriately planned for our stay with no negative impact on their service or our needs. Accommodations we appreciated: bell hop service, laundry service, daily room cleaning, in room bottled water & tea, barista service in lobby (excellent), and guest liaison services. Thank you Royal Mark Hotel for your professional care as we cared for the children of Sylhet! ♥️"

"I stayed at this hotel with my football team for 1 week in feb 2023. Staff are really nice and helpful, breakfast has a good variety and there is a pool and gym upstairs. I would give it 5 stars but I’m reducing it to 3- simply because the internet in awful. In fact, there is no internet. They keep asking you to try connecting when in fact, they know the truth , the internet doesn’t work. So if you’re trying to connect with friends and family back home, you’re gonna find it very difficult. Location is great, next to the Dorgah and very central. You’ll need to take a CNG most places. Overall, hotel is value for money. If you don’t need the internet. You’ll love it here. "

"I had a negative experience at Hotel Supreme in Mirabazar, Sylhet. The waiters were very rude to another customer, which I saw and heard. The waiters were talking to each other about putting urine in the food talking in local language, which was really shocking. Additionally, the manager at the front desk also had serious communication skills issues. Additionally, the morning breakfast was of very poor quality, which resulted in food poisoning and an upset stomach. I would advise everyone to avoid this hotel and its restaurants to prevent encountering the same issues. Please note that my opinion is based on my personal experience. Thank you."
