Hotels in Shi Road/Shantang business district, Suzhou

Came to stay with a group of friends while children. Service is excellent, staff are friendly and well trained. We wanted to gather and have some drinks at the lobby area after hours, but not to disturb other guests, they politely ushered us to the dining area and even helped us with our staff and made sure we were comfortable. I am not just impressed with the design, cleanliness of the hotel, but am also extremely pleased with the service from all level of staffs, be it front desk, the room service staff or even those at breakfast. They are very polite and well trained. I will definitely come back again to stay and will stay with this hotel if they have any other branches in other cities across China ❤️ 服务态度太棒了，肯定回来住安度酒店如果来苏州❤️

I had a pleasant stay at Mercure Hotel Shilu Shantang Street. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of my stay was the free laundry service provided, which added great convenience. The overall environment of the hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. While there were moments when the wait for the elevator was a bit longer than expected, it did not affect my enjoyment of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and cozy atmosphere. 我在苏州石路山塘街美居酒店的入住体验非常愉快。酒店的工作人员非常友好热情，总是面带微笑，随时准备提供帮助。让我印象深刻的是酒店还提供免费的洗衣服务，非常方便。 整体环境干净、现代又舒适，是一天外出后放松身心的好地方。虽然有时候等电梯的时间稍微长了一点，但并没有影响我在这里的入住心情。 总体来说，我非常推荐这家酒店，无论是出色的服务、贴心的设施还是舒适的氛围都让人满意。如果有机会，我一定会再次入住。

Extremely friendly staff, make us feel at home, located in the center of （观前街）walking street. Breakfast has good selections. Supper clean, We are very happy with our choice of this hotel.

The hotel is strategically located near Guanqian Street, Pingjiang Road, Shizilin etc. Lindu Lu metro station is just opposite the hotel, providing easy access to Suzhou’s attractions. The rooms are clean, all equipped with smart controls and a 100-inch projector. The prime location and the exceptional service definitely make ANSHE hotel a top choice for travelers.

Everything was really fantastic about this hotel. Excellent location, smack in the middle of Guanqian Street. Hotel is very new, super clean, and corridors are well ventilated with refreshing scented freshener / deodorizer. Housekeeping staffs are extremely good and more than willing to provide extra bottles of mineral water when requested. Breakfast is also highly recommended as the spread and variety of food is very adequate. Highly recommended hotel!!!

The gated hotel is a co-op made up of restored and new buildings, a restaurant, and a spa, but nothing over 3 stories. There are numerous restaurants once you leave the grounds -- go west. Get the breakfast buffet, it is worth it! The tourist center is a block west and next to the Grand Canal. Go there, and ask the nice young lady how to get around. The hotel will give you change for the bus. The police and information will help you in the metro. Be sure to walk up and down the canal, enjoy people watching, especially the young ladies dressed and made up in beautiful period piece costumes. You can rent one yourself if you wish to participate. Most of the tourist sights are within walking distance, including the Humble Administer's Garden and the sanpan ride on the canal. The hotel also has a nightly cruise sign up. If you want to see a panda, you'll have to go to the Taihu Wetland Park -- it's about 30 km from the hotel. You can get there by cab or public transportation.

The room was booked temporarily. There are more than a dozen Atour hotels in Suzhou. I chose the one with the latest renovation. I checked in on Christmas Eve. The front desk gave me two beautifully packaged apples. There is an underground parking lot downstairs. It is clean and bright. The elevator goes directly to the first floor, which is the hotel lobby. There is a study on the first floor, and the Atour bedding exhibition area, as well as a restaurant. The backyard is a simple garden landscape. Although it was newly renovated this year, it does not have any smell. The room is relatively large, the layout is reasonable, and the details are well designed. The overall style is what I like. When the TV is turned on, Atour's own documentary is on. There is also a brand introduction on the drinking water. The bathrobes are all individually sealed. There are white porridge and pumpkin porridge for late night porridge, as well as steamed buns and dumplings. The porridge is delicious. There is nothing special about breakfast. The restaurant is a sunken space. I like this space. In short, if it is the same price, I would prefer Atour.

Facilities: Complete facilities. Hygiene: Clean and sanitary. Environment: Very convenient. This time I came mainly to Xiyuan Temple, so I chose this hotel between Xiyuan Temple and Hanshan Temple. It is very convenient to travel. You can reach the scenic spot by walking. It takes about 38 to take a taxi to Mudu Ancient Town. It is also very quick to take a taxi to Guanqian Street and Shantang Street. Service: The reception lady is very nice. I booked a room without windows, and she upgraded me to a room with windows. So I decisively renewed the lease for another day the next day. I also gave a souvenir when I left. It is also very convenient to let the guy put it in the robot for delivery. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I replaced it with travel photos.

The hotel is located very close to Shantang street. The laundry room doesn’t have a seating area, messy and give you uncomfortable feeling. During one wash, I suspected that the laundry detergent has run out. Unlike previous wash, there was no foam after 10 minutes. Informed a hotel staff whom happened to be there. Instead received unfriendly and unhelpful response. I had to re-wash after the cycle was over. I added my own laundry detergent. The elevator carpet has a stench. It was revolting! The management might as well remove it. Leave it without a carpet. We were upgraded to a junior suite. It’s spacious and well designed. But pantry area is a bit dusty. Coat brush, shoe mitt and shoe horn were not provided. The hot water (for bathing) is inconsistent. Hot water suddenly cut off (within 3 seconds) a few times. This is unacceptable during winter; to say the least. Breakfast spread is average but I like the noodles soup, wanton soup as well as the soy milk; all 3 mentioned are tasty.

酒店位置非常方便，離火車站非常近，離地鐵也就100多米，老城區有名的景點基本都在附近，七里山塘，拙政園，平江路等有名的景點2公里。酒店新裝修的設施也非常現代化，乾淨衞生，床品和枕頭特別舒服。關鍵落地窗加隔音玻璃關上窗户很安靜，很不錯的一次入住體驗。下次來還要住這裏。
