LLaoyaoI took my mother to Jinji Lake for an outing and rest during the Qingming Festival. I have been to Jinji Lake several times. I first stayed at Crowne Plaza Zhongyin and InterContinental Suzhou after the epidemic. This time I saw the newly opened Indigo in 24 years. The location is very good, so I want to try it.
Before check-in, the housekeeper Scott contacted me and confirmed my check-in requirements. Before check-in, Scott confirmed that he could arrange the room type I wanted and upgraded it (the procedure was very formal and the feeling was also very good)👍
I arrived at Jinji Lake at night and checked into the hotel. It was very Indigo, young and individual. The highest six floors (probably because the lakeside location limits the floor height). There are contemporary art galleries and Ferris wheel buildings between the hotel and Jinji Lake, so the lower floors may not be able to see the lake view. Friends who mind should ask the hotel in advance~ I love the color matching of this hotel, which is a bit retro and modern~ The housekeeper and the front desk have already arranged it when checking in. The room card is the wooden round card that everyone sees in many introductions Card 😂 (There is a small episode here. When I checked in, I heard the front desk next door answering a call from a guest who asked to change rooms. I really heard the two guys trying their best to find a solution. The occupancy rate was high during the holidays, and they tried their best to meet the needs of the guests. Later, when I called the guest back, the guest directly said that he wanted to upgrade the room. In fact, they had already considered this plan, but it seemed that they couldn't do it for some reason. As a bystander, I can understand their intentions...)
Facilities: This time, because I communicated with the housekeeper in advance, the room was in a super good location, with a panoramic view of the lake view and the Ferris wheel🥳But it is true that some rooms in this hotel are not in such a good location, and there are no floor-to-ceiling windows😵💫The overall open layout is equipped with I still like the color, there is a capsule coffee machine, a teapot, a JBL Bluetooth speaker, and a mini bar. It is free on the day of check-in. The facilities and equipment are relatively new. There is no bathtub, but the shower room is large, the bathrobe is nice, and the color is the same as the room. The only thing I don’t like is that the automatic curtains cannot be half-opened...
Hygiene: The aunt is very enthusiastic. Aunt Zhang helped us clean the few days we stayed there. She vacuumed and mopped the floor every day. She was very serious. The slippers were also replaced every day. You can ask the aunt to change the flavor you like for capsule coffee. In fact, when I went out, I saw several room service staff very seriously.
Service: Whether it is the service of the housekeeper, the front desk, or the room cleaning aunt, the experience of staying during this holiday is very good. In fact, everyone is busier during the holiday. Busy, but not neglectful👍
Restaurant: It was too late on the day of check-in, so I had dinner directly in the hotel. There was only one restaurant in the hotel, and the chef was average (I even felt that it did not meet my impression of InterContinental restaurants). There were some small episodes in the middle, but I was not very angry. I just felt that the system was very chaotic... But later three staff members came to the room to apologize (I was flattered😂), and the hotel should strengthen the training of new employees~ (the service industry is not easy to work, and I don’t want to be a guest who likes to find faults)
Looking at Jinji Lake becoming more and more beautiful over the years, the integration of Chinese and Western cultures, and the regional space planning is very good, but the surrounding shopping malls are still a bit deserted~ Compared with the crowded old city of Suzhou, it is more comfortable to live here! Mom is also very satisfied, thanks to all the service staff, and will come again next time!
