Cleanliness is generally an area that our hotel takes much pride in and sincerely apologise that for some reason your room did not meet this standard. Upon inspection, we have noted that on that particular day our full time cleaner was unwell and contract staff were employed on that particular day. We would very much like to welcome you again in the future so we can improve on your experience. Additionally, you will find that most hotels charge a deposit on check in. This is standard practice in Thailand and is usually about 1000 Baht. I think most hotels don't mention this because it is standard in Thailand. I understand you comment regarding the cost of towel, hotel staff are only instructed to charge if towels are very dirty. Response from Property: Thank you for your review. Yes, sometimes the road can be a little noisy and we apologise for this. Unfortunately most smaller hotels have this same issue in Patong Beach. Some nights are better than others. Thank you for you comments about our staff. This is very important for us. For room cleaning, it is standard for small hotels in Thailand to only clean when you hang the sign on the door or request clean from staff. Larger more expensive hotels/resorts obviously can do daily cleans that are not requested, however many of these also use the same procedures and only clean on request. Additionally, if the sign is hung on the door too late in the day (eg 3pm), cleaning is unlikely for that day because cleaning staff have already completed their shifts. In relation to the room price, upon closer inspection it was noted that you paid 1050 Baht per night when you stayed with us. This is a standard price for mid March. I hope you can visit us again so we can improve on your experience. You are very welcome in the future.
