"This place is quite new and looks good from afar if you squint your eyes, but that’s about it. Like a lot of Chinese-built regional hotels in Indonesia the build quality of this place is terrible, and it will very likely be falling apart in five years. By focusing on aesthetics the owners have overlooked the most essential requirements of a good hotel - good service and basic functions that actually work. For instance, the shower cycled between scorching hot and freezing cold and the drainage was blocked both times I used it - so ended up with a flood. The light switches didn’t work properly and the entire floor stank of smoke, despite being a “non-smoking” room. The buffet breakfast was ok, but the service almost non-existent. There aren’t a lot of Western-standard options in Sumenep, and sadly this is probably the best, but that doesn’t mean it’s good. Happy travels."

When parking, the security guard just kept quiet and instead had a relaxing coffee. There was no initiative to find a place and guide parking. 2. The receptionist's attitude was stiff, as if forced, unfriendly, and seemed to belittle guests. 3. In responding to complaints because there were lacking facilities, it seemed like they had no intention. For example, yesterday I asked the receptionist for a towel 2x, the receptionist just smiled unclearly and promised to send it, until checking out the towel was never sent. 4. In the morning, there were no officers at the reception or in the security office. Need to wait a few minutes and have to be looked for first. 5. I have left a cellphone number to be contacted regarding the hotel's apology, until this article was written there was no apology. Please the hotel developer to evaluate the SOP that has been made. If there is none, please create one immediately and schedule training for employees. 🙏"
