StefanbergI always stay at Delta when I'm in Liverpool for business, but this time I booked too late and had to stay here. It's an Ascott group hotel, located on the main commercial street, and only a 5-minute walk from Lime Street Station. It's very quiet, and all the facilities are new, plus the rooms are quite spacious. The only minor drawback is that there's no restaurant, so no breakfast... For the past few days, I've had to make do with buying food from Lidl for breakfast. Oh, and by the way, a HeyTea actually opened right across from the hotel... seems like most of the customers are older Chinese women and international students. All in all, this hotel is really good.

Guest UserThe service was extremely poor as we had no house cleaning done in our room in the 2 nights spent there. I called the customer service and was told cleaners were going to come and change the bed linen, towels and clean the room but that was false. I called a few times to chase this and nothing was done so I slept on the same old bed linen and I had to later chase up to get some clean towels. The service was really poor and there weren't many breakfast options to choose from as there wasn't much variety.

Guest UserThis hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! Photo is a view from our room - the two Cathedrals in view.

I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did.
On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood.
The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy.
Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more.
Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left.
Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Guest UserGreat two night break at Novotel Liverpool City Centre. The location was perfect for all the sights bars and restaurants. We went to see Barry Manilow concert and the arena was approx 10 -15 minute walk which was great. Had a freshly cooked meal in the restaurant called Ropewalks inside the hotel, we ordered fish and chips and New York Cheese cake. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced two courses for £20. The pool initially felt cold but was fine after a few minutes of swimming. I thought it was a very good hotel with good facilities in a perfect location and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Liverpool

My Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience
Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

Hotel in the city center with friendly staff. We had a spacious room with comfortable beds. Good to know that there is a nightclub in the building (open until 05 am) and during our stay, there were one or several other guests that played loud music from more or less 03 to 06 am. The hotel is great if you are there for a late party night, not so much if you appreciate a good nights sleep.
