Location: Just a 3-5 minute walk from the scenic area entrance and the Tide Wall. Since Shuiyin Inn and Dengying Inn are part of the Shuishi Hotel chain, check-in and check-out must be done at the front desk of the adjacent Shuishi Hotel. Price: Although located outside the scenic area entrance, it is also part of the scenic area chain. The room rate includes three tickets and unlimited shuttle bus rides, making it a very reasonable price. Breakfast: Also served on the first floor of the Shuishi Hotel. Register your room (please specify which inn you are staying in), and meals are delivered according to the number of guests and in the order they are staying. The food is quite good, and the portions are quite generous (see Figure 5). Facilities/Environment: As this is a newly built hotel-style inn, the facilities are comprehensive and the cleanliness is excellent. The rooms in the official photos are identical to the actual rooms, and they even appear larger. Being located outside the scenic area makes it very quiet at night, with only guests from three other hotels frequenting the area. The bedding and sleeping environment are also very good. Areas for improvement (the kind where the flaws don't outweigh the advantages): ❶ The Shuiyin Family Room we stayed in didn't have a small refrigerator. I wonder if other rooms have them. A small refrigerator is quite necessary, especially during the summer, when there's an increasing demand for family rooms to store children's food or adults to keep cold drinks/food. ❷ The entrance to Shuiyin Inn is tucked away in a corner, and we initially thought we'd taken the wrong side door. Instead of requiring time-consuming and laborious manual guidance (especially during peak holiday season), consider placing signage with images or text indicating important information like how to check in at the Shuishi Hotel to avoid confusion. ❸ The small door at Shuiyin Inn is accessible freely. A short walk away is the side gate for the neighboring residential complex, and we saw residents using electronic access cards to enter and exit directly. Although the main gate is locked at night and is generally quite safe, it would be even more reassuring if Shuiyin Inn could install an electronic door (using room or work card). After all, as the scenic area becomes increasingly popular, this could be a safety concern. In general, all the hotel staff are very warm and thoughtful, and their main feature is ”lively eyes”, and the overall experience is still very good.

I chose this hotel because it's a Kaiyuan Mingting property and just opened in 2025, so I expected it to be good, and it didn't disappoint! The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, quite spacious, and both twin beds were 1.5-meter queens. I was pleasantly surprised to find the toilet and shower separate, and even a smart toilet, which made it feel like excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot was large and convenient. They also offer self-service laundry and a gym. The buffet breakfast was a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes, with a rich variety and delicious food. The 'Jiangyun' uniform worn by staff was also a nice distinctive touch.

I'd been looking forward to my trip to Yanguan for ages, but I was hesitant about booking a hotel, worried that a bad choice would spoil my trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent environment—clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, clearly explaining the hotel and the time we would be watching the tidal bore. They even upgraded us to the hotel's top suite, which was a wonderful surprise. It was probably the hotel's good fortune that allowed us to witness the tidal bore even when we might not have seen it. All of this was thanks to the hotel's comfort and the good luck we had. I hope to stay here again next time and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Thank you so much!

The key card from the front desk wouldn't open the door. I was worried they'd given me the wrong card, so I confirmed with her which room number it was on this floor. The funny thing is, she thought I couldn't read numbers. Then she said the lock was out of power. I called the front desk from my phone; Ctrip allows recording. A while later, an older man came up with a card and opened the door instantly! Was the lock out of power? If they gave me the wrong card, they didn't say anything, why keep making excuses? The room smelled strongly of cleaning agents or mop. I changed rooms, and it was the same. The bathroom was awful (smells like stinky feet).

I came here with my colleagues on a business trip. The hotel is very big. The lobby and appearance are very luxurious. The service of the front desk lady is very enthusiastic. The bar and access control facilities make my stay safe and secure. The room is very spacious and very clean. The windows are basically floor-to-ceiling windows. It's almost there. The view is very good and the breakfast is also very good. I just forgot to take pictures. It's a very nice hotel and worth recommending!

The hotel itself is good, but I am not satisfied with the breakfast. As a high-end hotel, it is outrageous that breakfast is opened at 7 o'clock. What's more outrageous is that when I went in, almost one-third of the dishes were not ready, and many employees were eating. This is very unfriendly and unsatisfactory for early risers! High-end hotels need to serve not most guests, but every guest!
