The service at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to meet my needs promptly. The room was also very clean and comfortable, and the bed was super cozy. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, close to all the activities in Snow Town. The room facilities were excellent, everything was neat and tidy, and all the necessary amenities were provided, making for a truly pleasant stay.

(This is absolutely, 100% genuine and I'm so touched!!!) My boyfriend and I traveled together, and we only booked this hotel in Xuexiang the night before, but it turned out to be the luckiest decision I made on this trip! Shortly after booking, they assigned us an incredibly enthusiastic butler!
From travel itinerary planning to basic hotel services, he was almost always online 24/7. He explained all the activities available in the scenic area, customized our route based on our preferences, helped us book all our tickets, and even arranged our return transportation to Harbin, considering the heavy snow might block roads. Ahhh, seriously, if we had any questions or didn't know where to go, we could ask him and he'd reply instantly! So cool!
When we got back to the hotel at 11 PM, the hotel restaurant was closed, and there was no delivery service in Xuexiang. But our butler first prepared frozen pears, frozen persimmons, and other fruits for us, and then went out into the snow, checking multiple stores to get us dinner 🥹 (He truly anticipated all our needs and proactively recommended more cost-effective options – he's seriously so genuine 🥹)
The hotel restaurant service was also excellent; the dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious!
Today was so much fun! We saw thick snow, snow mushrooms, visited **Qiang's house, watched Northeast Errenzhuan (a local folk art), rode snow tubes on Bangchui Mountain, participated in a 'down jacket disco,' and embraced under the fireworks!
So, I believe that the key to every trip is the encounters you make. We were so fortunate to encounter a hotel that provided such immense emotional value. This was a truly wonderful experience and a very romantic trip.
In the vast, icy, and wild Northeast, gentle fairy tales can be told…💕

This Northeast 'kang' hotel was the biggest surprise of our trip! From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded our expectations and warmed our hearts. It was impossible to drag our luggage through the snow, but the butler kindly brought a cart and efficiently transported everything, so patiently and thoughtfully. When we checked in, they even brought us authentic frozen pears, frozen persimmons, and other specialty fruits; their icy sweetness was incredibly refreshing. The warm 'kang' was spacious and comfortable, instantly dispelling all the cold and fatigue. Here, you don't just experience the authentic 'kang' culture, but also the meticulous human touch. I sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the warmth of Northeast China!

The staff are all welcoming. They really are accommodating and help us with our needs. They also booked us to the private car which made things easier since there's a language barrier. Make sure to have a WeChat app to help with communication. Overall stay is okay, they are really friendly. Location is okay if you don't mind walking from the shuttle bus since they have a butler to pick you up there.

The room matched the photos and was very spacious. I checked in a little after 12, which was early, and the room wasn't cleaned properly. When I opened the toilet lid, the previous guest's waste hadn't been flushed. I had to hold my breath and flush it myself, which was disgusting. The service was okay. I had originally booked a train ticket back to Harbin through the official channel, but the hotel offered a discount for booking through them, so I canceled the original ticket. However, that evening, they told me the tickets for the next day were gone, so I had to transfer to a high-speed train from Yabuli. But the high-speed train was quicker, so it was fine, just a mistake made in a hurry, sigh. That unflushed toilet really was disgusting; they need to pay more attention to details when cleaning rooms. Actually, getting around was quite convenient, but being close to the station, there's a smell of gasoline exhaust if you open the window during the day. In winter, it's cold, so if you keep the windows closed, you can ignore it. Everyone coming from Xuegu (Snow Valley) says Xuexiang (Snow Town) isn't fun and there's nothing for kids to do. In fact, Xuegu and Xuexiang each have their own unique charms. It's just that after playing in Xuegu, my kids weren't very interested in the snow in Xuexiang. Overall, Xuexiang is still worth visiting.

The owner is very particular, and the big red padded jackets in the store are definitely worth checking out for a photo op. The walls need some maintenance, and there's no air conditioning. The floor heating gets quite warm, and the windows are of average quality, letting in a bit of a draft at night, making it a bit chilly. We slept with our heads facing outwards on the *kang* (heated brick bed). The night view is beautiful, and the 'splashing water into ice' activity is a lot of fun, costing 5 yuan per person. Things within the scenic area are quite expensive; frozen pears, for instance, are 5 yuan each in a less central area of Harbin's Central Street.
