Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

The bed was huge, probably 8 feet wide. The room was clean, and the lobby was beautiful. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was plentiful. The price was cheap, making it great value for money. There were plenty of parking spaces, making it very convenient to get to Friendship Pass!

I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews, but it just goes to show you really need to experience it yourself. The environment is fantastic, both the room itself and the view outside the window. The room is very spacious, the bedding feels crisp and dry, and the bed is super comfortable. We chose a room with a balcony and a bathtub, and the kids didn't want to leave at all! The adults just sat by, eating, drinking, chatting, enjoying the view, and watching the kids – it was truly delightful. The service is also up to star-hotel standards. When we arrived to check in, a staff member helped us with our luggage and even took it to our room. A butler had already contacted us before check-in and we added them on WeChat. No matter what we needed, the butler was responsive and handled everything promptly. I highly recommend Butler Xiao Fang; you can look for him when you stay there. However, I do have one suggestion. The hotel offers complimentary afternoon fruit and evening desserts, but we stayed two nights and didn't get to try any of it. We were out during the day and by the time we got back to the hotel to rest, we just forgot. We'd sleep until 6 PM and just missed the fruit. Since the hotel is thoughtful enough to offer it, they could just put the fruit directly in the room.

The hotel has a fantastic location, just a few minutes' walk from the food street. We had dinner there as soon as we arrived, and it was the first time I'd ever seen round avocados. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable. We booked a triple room, and while I thought a family room would just have multiple beds, it turned out to be a suite. The children's room also had a large bed and tatami mats, which exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, with an open-plan sink area, so showering, using the toilet, and washing hands didn't bother each other. A special compliment was that the hotel even provided makeup remover and facial cleanser – so thoughtful! The minibar was complimentary 😋 The receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, with a lovely smile, and she answered all our questions and requests. My friend later left her documents, including her visa for Vietnam the next day, at the front desk, and they proactively contacted her and delivered them to her room. The very same kind lady who checked us in the previous night checked us out the next morning; we learned she had finished her shift last night and was working the early shift that day – hotel staff really have it tough! The hotel has its own parking lot and a large, comfortable courtyard. All three of us were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it.

I booked this hotel without hesitation solely for the bunk beds with a slide, despite seeing many negative or mixed reviews on Xiaohongshu. To be honest, this phenomenon of villages being densely packed with guesthouses is common in places like Zhoushan too, and as long as there's no noise, I'm perfectly fine with it. The hotel breakfast is very generous; usually, sharing just two portions is enough for an entire family. They also offer different snacks every evening. Renting an electric scooter from the entrance is convenient, and the bicycles provided by the hotel are free. I contacted the concierge in advance to mention my child's birthday, and they kindly provided a complimentary 4-inch cake on the day. So sweet! 🎂

The hotel facilities are very complete and the location is good. It is very close to Detian Plaza. It is very convenient to go out for a stroll and have a meal at night. The sanitation is also very clean, which is good.

First off, the hotel's location is great. It's really close to Yulinba (Fish Scale Dam) and located within a resort area that has more than just this hotel, including pricier options like Mingshi Yayuan. The only difference is that those hotels have river-facing rooms, while this one is set back a bit. However, the restaurant part *is* right by the river, so in terms of location, it's pretty much on par with the more expensive places. As a guest, you also get free bike rentals and access to the museum, which has a few popular photo spots. The downsides are that the room facilities are a bit old. As soon as you walk in, there's a damp, woody smell from the furniture, and there are no charging outlets by the bed. Also, the bicycles are quite old.

Overall, it was a really good stay. In this area, it's definitely one of the hotels with a great location and excellent facilities. The room design is well-thought-out, and there's a beautiful view from the window, making for a very comfortable stay. The room comes with a washer-dryer combo, and parking is convenient right next to the hotel, which is perfect for those traveling by car. As for breakfast, it's a set menu and quite tasty. (I do want to mention the auntie who cooks the rice noodles at breakfast. When I asked her to add some blanched greens, she gave me a very sour look and said some rather unpleasant things. The day before, the owner was there and kindly added them. This auntie I encountered on the second day really left a bad taste in my mouth.)

Facilities: There weren't enough charging outlets, and the toilet seat was a bit too low. The blankets were too damp. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Mountain views are visible from the windows. The location is opposite the People's Hospital. There are parking spaces in front, many restaurants downstairs, and a supermarket. The location is excellent. Service: The hotel lobby staff weren't very friendly. I heard I booked through Ctrip online; their attitude was unenthusiastic and cold.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
