Guest UserStayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days
The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern, the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

The location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk.
For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice.

Guest UserTraveling with family, we chose this apartment hotel because we planned to be out all day and didn't want to deal with laundry. The washing machine is a top-loader and a bit old, but perfectly functional. The dryer is excellent; it can dry all the clothes and pants for our family of three in one go. The hotel's restaurant, Stockmans, offers much better value for its steaks than those trendy, Instagrammable spots. The date pudding for dessert is definitely worth trying.

My partner and I were here for 4 nights for a weekend down from Melbourne. Check-in was very convenient with a 24-hour receptionist and the location right at the end of Salamanca was perfect for wandering into down and especially to pop into the Salamanca Market on Saturday! Room was very spacious with a couch and small table to sit at; and we stayed on the Harbour side so had fabulous views of the sun rising over the estuary/harbour. Parking was included and was very easy to use. Overall we had a fabulous stay at Lenna!

DMerylA charming historic landmark right on Macquarie Street- close to all landmark interests. I got upgraded to room 6 which was quite comfortable in size. Bed was comfy and nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- and included with my booking. Holly and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I went on a Bruny Tour - pickup nearby and saw the albino wallabies!

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Hobart city center. Downstairs, there are numerous shops like Myer, Arc'teryx, The North Face, and the Machimachi bubble tea shop, making shopping very convenient. The staff were friendly, and check-in was smooth. The room size was moderate, and the view was great, but the windows were quite dirty, which affected the viewing experience—something that needs attention. The breakfast was very plentiful, with a wide variety of choices and well-balanced nutrition. Housekeeping was done daily, and the cleanliness was good. You need to use your card to access the elevators, so security is not an issue. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and could use improvement.

The stay here was in perfect location to the wharf and the Salamanca Market. I did have some privacy concerns with the studio apartment such as being able to see into the bedroom from the shared balcony as well as the frosted bathroom window.

The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s just a short walk to the harbour and tourist information centre, where you can easily catch most tours. Conveniently close to the SkyBus stop, it’s also easy to get to the airport. We booked a spacious one-bedroom apartment, and the supermarket is within minutes’ walk. The friendly staff is welcoming to all races, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room cleaning was satisfactory, making it a great base for exploring Hobart. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel.

Guest UserIt seems to be the former Travelodge hotel. It's built right by the road, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room looking out onto it. The room itself is quite spacious, but the soundproofing isn't great. There aren't many shops nearby, just one Subway according to the map, and the hotel does have a restaurant. I guess many people stay here just for one night to catch a flight, as it's the only hotel close to the airport. They offer a paid shuttle service, $10 for one person and $15 for two, with the earliest shuttle at 7 AM. Our flight was too early, so we couldn't use it. Be warned! Even though it's close to the airport and a taxi should only be around $12, drivers might try to overcharge. Our taxi driver demanded $30. Since we had some extra time, we refused and decided to walk to the airport ourselves. It was almost 2 kilometers, and walking alone in the middle of the night with no one around was actually a bit spooky.

The room is quite clean!!! Honestly we have been to many places, cleanliness is top thing for travelers, so never tired of repeating this. Location is great with a nice dock view and near Coles and Woolies(8min drive). The off-hour calls are picked up and attended patiently and considerably. Quiet and easy to fall asleep. The only thing is the hot-water was gone too quick, I assume they are using the solar panels? The hot water once consumed will not come back as they promised at night. Honestly didn’t impact my family since we take quick shower for water-saving for the planet by default. But should make a note here.
