"The handsome guy who checked me in at noon was exceptionally attentive, with a sweet smile and great attitude. I saw him often over these two days, though I don't know his name, he deserves praise. Other staff members were just okay, normal standard. The elevator being out of service was a slight inconvenience, but someone helped with the luggage. The location is super convenient, with many restaurants and attractions right outside. The room was also very clean, old but not run-down."

"Lovely room, service and breakfast. Great Heritage Hotel convenient parking great facilities and location. Friendly staff. Had biscuit with coffee free in rooms a lovely toiuch most hotels used to do that so nice the hotel still is. Good comfy beds, bathroom and toiletries excellent. Highly recommended this hotel. Nice wine bar at night. Lovely china and a delightful sitting room."

TTPT21Clean and well-maintained, with everything you need. The hot water supply was excellent, and the lady were patient, friendly, and welcoming. The experience exceeded our expectations, making for a very comfortable and great-value stay—thank you!
We did hear the parrots whistling past several times like an F1 car in the middle of the night, and initially thought the soundproofing was just okay. However, in the morning we realized that a window behind the curtains had been left slightly open for ventilation, so it wasn’t really a problem. We were also impressed with the room’s heating—sleeping warm and cozy even on frosty mornings, when our car’s windshield was covered in ice.

GGini99This is a very nice hotel with high rise hotels and lower rise buildings of rooms which are quieter and next to the water. The view is fabulous, services is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

MMeng HuaOverall the location is good and the facilities is also good but one of the most disappointing for me is the wrong information given to me. The hotel ‘s arranged parking facilites is a good 10-15 mins work and daily rate is $37
As I called ahead via booking platform to speak to front office and was told that car park will be free or will not be charged I was very dissatisfied with the need to pay at the end . The hotel should put a clear information at the booking site as I will definitely factor in when I book

MM372629****The hotel is quite new and boasts a prime location in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby; I tried two, and both were delicious, plus I had a fantastic grilled fish. A Woolworths supermarket and an Asian grocery store are just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic, indicating excellent management. Valet parking costs $40 per day. Do note that toiletries and slippers are not provided (this is common in most Australian hotels). The hotel breakfast is $30 per person, and the food quality is good (compared to other Australian hotels). There's a gentleman at the front desk who speaks Chinese, and all staff members have excellent service attitudes. The hotel was very busy, with quite a few Chinese guests staying. On the downside, there was no bottled water, which I found to be the case in several hotels I stayed at in Tasmania. Also, the shower in the room doesn't have a door, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid wetting the bathroom floor.

SshoshiiiVery good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!!
The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities.
The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing.
Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!

GGuest UserThe inn is in the Battery Point, which contains plenty of beautiful scenery and special buildings. There are many kinds of rooms and different demands can be satisfied. The kitchen is not so big but free coffee and tea is provided. Limited bathrooms so maybe you have to wait but unforgettable experience for us. Free parking lot is offered also. You can meet different visitors here and mostly of them are backpackers. During our stay here, it was the owner's daughter's birthday. Sweet bread and donuts are shared for free by him.

One of the highlights of our mornings was breakfast at Peppina, the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast menu featured a delightful array of options, from freshly baked pastries to hearty, made-to-order dishes. Each meal was prepared with care and presented beautifully, making it a pleasure to start our day. The atmosphere at Peppina was equally inviting, with a charming decor that complemented the delicious food, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast.
In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks at Mary Mary, another fantastic venue within the hotel. The bar had a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring both classic favorites and innovative creations crafted by skilled mixologists. Each drink we ordered was expertly made and beautifully garnished, adding to the overall experience.
Overall, our stay at the Tasman Luxury Hotel was a true testament to hospitality at its finest. MMattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.
