The Powder House in was a quaint and peaceful B & B and a fantastic location. I could walk to everything. The owner was kind enough to make a breakfast that I could actually eat with my allergies. Enjoy your time in St. Augustine.

The hotel is a bit north of the central part of St. Augustine, but the city itself is not big, and the attractions are just a short walk away. If you want to go around the hour, it is a very comfortable small city with its own sea, its own university, My own pedestrian street, my own castle, and the ancient city gate. When the weather is good, I walk around the streets and drink coffee in the hotel. It's very refreshing... The hotel staff is also very polite, and leave the keys in the mailbox when it is late at night Self check-in, the hotel is very warm, there are wine drinks and small snacks when they arrive. We stayed in room 9. It’s a strange small layout. The sitting/living room was too small for the big screen TV ,so we stayed in the bedroom wich had its own TV. The bed was great, very comfy. The bathroom is about the size of an RV bathroom. The toilet is very low. Folks with bad knees or issues standing will have problems getting upThere is

Nice place to stay a bit further out from the center but the hotel itself is good

beautiful hotel and food was good although we saw two couples leave angry because of more than a 30 minute wait for breakfast. staff present were doing their best but the kitchen staff couldn’t keep up with orders   from my personal viewpoint, my only complaint is the additional $25 per night for parking. it feels like just another way to squeeze the customer

The room provided wasn't 100% ready on our arrival the rooms advertised refrigerator was pulled out from its location with the door left opensitting on top of a towel collecting water that had been leaking for some time. Mint. Did respond quickly to the matter by cleaning up the watery mess and getting the refrigerated back into place. The refrigerator was plugged back in but eventually started to leak during the past 3 days of stay. The room did feel damp as there may have been high humidity present.
