Yavapai Lodge

We arrived late at night and the night sky was so beautiful. There were many stars and the room was small, but I really liked the tree forest seen from the window. And there's a welcome center nearby, so it's convenient to buy something and eat there, and if you pack something, it's easy to sit and eat there. I'll recommend it for a family trip.

Me and my family enjoyed the closeness to the Grand Canyon national park. The cabin was clean. Service was great. Their Pizza was delicious. They're general market was steps away from the cabin.

Alot of questions. Garbage outside my room. Bathroom window would not open. Nearly broken loose toliet paper holder. For 200.00 usd a night ya think things were repaired. Also maybe a water leak in ceiling and a plugged shower drain. Gross. The lodge food was terrible. And all the good looking food was sold in the bar area in a different menu. Terrible marketing. The room in general was just ok. Over priced.

No elevator. If you have heavy suitcase, should request a 1st floor room. Only 4 mins driving to the Mather point.

Very centrally located with scenic surroundings ! Convenient to get to the look out areas. Parking was convenient. Room was clean and sufficiently heated in the winter. bed was comfortable! Very pleasant stay overall :) will definitely return!

The location was perfect and the amenities were good too! Some of the staff at the dining area were so helpful and friendly! The manager was also kind enough to swap my beer as the one I ordered was not good as per my taste. Love the over all area of the property. Highlight was the stargazing at the night
