Great
GGuest UserThis is a beautiful hotel literal steps away from the sites or Bratislava. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt very relaxed once in the hotel. The view from the street and lobby make it seem like there isn't much but once we got beyond the ground floor (in a diamond shaped elevator) we really appreciated the atrium. There were plenty of spots to sit including some large bench areas where you could enjoy the sunlight and brightly lit areas.
The room was a good size with plenty of space and storage cabinets to keep our things. They had a coffee station, mini fridge and desk area. The room was comfy and quiet. The wifi was also very strong during our stay. We had a minor issue with the curtains because they got stuck and did not offer complete coverage.
The bathroom was good and we appreciated the rainfall showerhead. They had an all in one shower gel so you may want to consider bringing your own products. There was a towel warming rack too which was a nice touch.
The breakfast at the hotel was very good and there were some nice healthy options. They had plenty of fruit, yogurt and some nice breads. We also appreciated the eggs, bacon and cheese. The breakfast spot is on the bottom floor and serves as an extension to the restaurant Koliba Kamzík Zelená which has a few locations in Bratislava. We had a very good lunch at the restaurant which included pierogies, cabbage soup and a garlic soup with cheese. The hot sea buckthorn drink was very good too. The lunch was probably our best meal in Bratislava and if you're a member of the hotel's Aplend club you can get discounts on several items.
The location was good for us and we were a very short walk away from many restaurants, souvenir shops and cafes. The Town Hall Square is about 100 meters away from the entrance of the hotel and we found many of Bratislava's attractions a short walk away from the hotel including St. Michael's Tower, Cumil and the whole Old Town area. The bus and tram stops are a bit further of a walk but we found the bus station and tram station by the UFO Bridge to be pretty convenient during our stay.
GGuest UserIt may be because the apartment is the first time, but it was uncomfortable because there was no reception service like a hotel. The hotel and reception are completely different, but there is no special introduction in advance, only the reception address is attached to the front door, so it is puzzling in the signing that you can't read Slovakia. The hostel is clean and the ice is very spacious and the room props and windows are princess room
JJaredA staff will reach out to you the day before check in and provide you details. You will collect the apartment keys from the keybox at the apartment building. It was a little confusing to find the correct apartment building as there were 2 side by side. Apartment was small but cozy and sufficiently comfortable. My apartment was on the 2nd floor and you could hear some commotion from the streets but it was still manageable.
DduguguirenIt takes 15 minutes to walk from the bus station. The hotel looks somewhere between classic and modern. The corridor layout and elevator style are refreshing.
The booking says 8 square meters, but it feels much more than that. A very large bed doesn't feel crowded. There is air conditioning, which is the first time I have seen it during this trip to the five Central European countries. Although there is no bottled water, there is a kettle. The shower room is the largest I have seen in a 3-star hotel, and the water is particularly smooth.
GGuest UserBest location. Right by the side of old town on the tram Line. Easy connection to the airport or railway station. Room was huge with kitchenette, full size fridge and there are washers and dryers available for a couple of euros. There may be better value accommodation somewhere else but I haven’t found it. We will be back on our next trip to Bratislava.
GGuest UserIt was not bad, but it is unshameless to require 25€ per day for a 3kg dog. Have paid in higher quality hotels up to now only 10-15€ per day.
Maybe the hotel manager should consider something for the future.
DDarek ŚląskThe hotel remembers the times of communism. The equipment is very damaged. Hot. Hard beds. The toilet and shower are small and shared by 2 rooms. But for these gentlemen, a man will survive anything
DDeffoThe price performance hotel, checkin was a little troubled. The emails are not sent in English. The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable. The location was quite good. I was generally happy.
