"The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. It's nice to have a hotel near the station when it's raining ^_^
The main shopping area is on the north side of the station, so it's a quiet area on the opposite side. There is no convenience store at the hotel, but there is one nearby.

I think the breakfast is good for a business hotel! I think they prepare lunch, but if you go late for breakfast, you feel rushed. It can't be helped (lol)"

"Dormy Inn offers breakfast made with local ingredients and regional cuisine, offers midnight noodles, and has many hot springs in its large public baths, so I often stay here even though it is a little pricey. This was my first time in Niigata, but it was very good. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"Nice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall."

The room was at The Business Hotel
The room key was the old type 🔑
Apart from the fact that the air conditioning was not adjusted properly, it was pretty good.
You pick up the amenities you need from the reception, but it was nice that they had face masks.
Pajamas were prepared in front of the elevators on each floor, but the pants I chose had a stain on them, so that was a bit of a minus.
Well, it's fine if you go and get new ones.
Breakfast was pretty good too."

VVacayWonderful stay. Breakfast was good. Plenty of different drinks like smoothies, coffee/tea and milk. Service from the gentleman handling international guests was welcoming, helpful and friendly. However I do find the staff at the check in counters very stern looking who do not smile and are generally unfriendly .

HHanprasertpornAs foreigners, the hotel has no sign in English which was given me confusing where the location is. I would suggest to put more English sign and clearly provide the explanation that the hotel is also located on the 4th floor.
Unluckily my assigned was very tiny as it is right to the lift and it’s quite noisy. The bed is not quite comfy compared to Aomori one where I stayed two night before.
Food is provided in the box which is giving more flexibility to bring up to your room or taking away if you wish.
Another little thing, the hotel doesn’t utilize the member card as key card where the Aomori one does.

The size of the room is similar to that of a typical business hotel, but it is kept clean and the bed is comfortable.

The parking lot was a parking space that surrounds the site, but I couldn't park it, so I was guided to a contract parking lot a little far away. There is no particular problem.
The room is also a simple style, but the unit bus is quite narrow. It was a little painful for me who was hard ^^;
Amenity is the minimum required, and there is a vending machine on the 1st and 3rd floors, and a coin laundry on the 3rd floor. There are no alcohols such as beer, so you should buy it in advance.

・Breakfast is buffet style, which was great for me as I have dietary restrictions as I could choose only the items I could eat and eat small amounts.
・There is a large public bath, which is great, although there is a time limit.
・There are many restaurants nearby where you can eat local seafood, so I felt that Basho was in a great location for people who want to enjoy a meal.
・There are souvenir shops and the local arcade shopping street right in front of the hotel, so you can purchase souvenirs such as agricultural products, seafood, and sasamochi.
・There is a roadside station 5km away within the prefecture, so you can purchase crabs and other items there and have them delivered to your home.
・The Wi-Fi security was also fine, and the security software did not indicate any risk.
