GGuest UserThis was our first time staying with you. The hotel was well located (bus stops nearby). Easy access to our room, where you met our expectations (extra bed for our 15-month-old daughter). We really enjoyed our stay; the air conditioning was excellent in this heat.
However, the occasional power outage wasn't as pleasant.

The staff allowed early check-in when the room was ready, which was very helpful.
After check-out, we could store our luggage at the hotel, making it easy to explore the city.
Overall, a convenient hotel with good service and reasonable price.

MmharsnClose to a metro station, but not close to any of the sites. Still, they are within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
The food court / common room is nice, with lots of couches and power outlets. It closes at night though, and then there is no place to go except back to your room.
The dorm rooms have air conditioning, which is nice. Mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. Good Wi-Fi throughout.
The morning and daytime front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

RRexShangThe location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk from Flandres train station and 15 minutes walk from Euro train station. I stayed for 4 nights and it was very cost-effective. The breakfast was also great, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of breakfast options, which was great value. Not only is it close to the train station, it is also close to the old town and various attractions, especially the Palace of Fine Arts. I will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserFairly good location but other Ibis hotels are right in the heart of the city for only a few pounds more. Ended up getting taxis home at night as there are some quite dark, lonely sections on the road home.
Service was excellent for such an affordable hotel- staff brought extra pillow on request, iron and ironing board, they were always smiling, polite and proficient.
In the room, there was one small, high up window making the room feel dark and hot. We were on level 1, higher bedrooms seemed to have better windows.
Mattress was comfortable but not attached or anchored in- it tended to surf away from the hard headboard and your one pillow then fell down between the gap. The pillows themselves were crap- I felt like a I was sleeping on a water balloon- when you rested your head on one section, it would go flat and inflate the other. We requested extras because I had recently had surgery and needed extra support and one extra was provided. I ended up using towels for extra support which was less than ideal.
Bathroom was clean, modern and had a nice, powerful shower. TV had access to Netflix and YouTube.
The air conditioning was FANTASTIC and powerful when it was on but then it inexplicably would turn off maybe 2/3 times a night and the heat would wake us up which was a shame. We run hot and like a colder bedroom so this might not be a deal breaker for you but it’s very important for me and affected my quality of sleep.

Extremely disappointing breakfast for the price of 14 euros. There are little things to eat in sugar. No natural yawns, no herb syrup, no four-quarters, madlaws, or bricks ...
In addition, it was missing everything and in the event of a stream there was absolutely nothing to eat. Some people waited for almost 20 minutes to have it only a growing one.

GGuest UserA good stay at the hotel. Super central location next to the train station and Euralille. There you can park well and then it's a few minutes walk to the hotel. Unfortunately, it came on a very warm day, where the hotel has no air conditioning, but has a fan. Beautiful view from the top floor of the hotel.

KKuldeepSNGreat choice. Ideal location in the old town, and only 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, allowing me to practise my beginners French. Special mention for receptionist Manu - he is a real star. Well be back!!

GGuest UserWe travelled as a group to attend seminars in the Lille Catholic University. However only one room available, we decided to give the room to our old German nun. When she checked out she left her Taïwanaise passport, granted by Taiwan Government for her contributions. Thanks to the hotel services, cooperation with the LC University, we finally get the passport back through express delivery. Amazing!
