"In the thousand-year-old Nuodeng Ancient Village, what you see is not always what you get. What you can see with your eyes is a scenery, but what you can feel with your eyes closed is many, many reveries. Staying at Suxin Ruoshui added more fun to our journey, with a small independent yard and a casual coffee in the mountains. In the evening, I ordered a pot of steam-pot chicken with my family and a plate of seasonal matsutake sashimi, which was delicious. Get up early in the morning, order a latte, and enjoy the fresh mountain air and tranquility, which is also particularly sweet. In fact, when I came back, I really missed my cup of latte in the morning."

"House: The B&B was renovated from a 400-year-old old house. The interior retains the style of the ancient house, with sliding windows that reveal the mountains and a very atmospheric feel. The only drawback is that the sanitary conditions inside the ancient house need to be improved. Scenery: The B&B is surrounded by gardens and there is a mountainside cafe where you can watch the mountains and chat, which is very pleasant. There is also a restaurant under construction in the garden, which is worth looking forward to. Person: Whether it is the boss sister, Big Beard, or the aunt, or the little girl, they are all very honest and friendly. The cooking made by Big Beard and the aunt is very delicious. We sit in the garden every day and eat the delicious food they cook. Don’t be too happy. People in Nuodeng like to give their children delicious food. We took the baby for a walk around the village, and the baby's belly bulged... There are also three dogs in the B&B. They are not afraid of people and can play with them casually. The baby enjoys playing with them every day. Huh. It was our first long-distance self-driving trip with a 2-year-old baby. We chose Nuodeng and Nuoyan. Of course we were tired, but it was all worth it."

"I stayed overnight in Nuodeng and chose this guesthouse. It's located halfway up the mountain in Nuodeng. From the parking lot, you walk up a very steep flight of stairs, which lead up to the Jade Emperor Pavilion at the top. Facilities: The B&B is very nice. The window of my room overlooked a lush bamboo forest, which was very relaxing. It was during the meteor shower, and I thought I couldn't see any due to the thick clouds. But after falling asleep, I was greeted by a starry sky, and I ran to the balcony to fulfill my wish. Service: The owner, his family, and the housekeeper were all very welcoming, and there was even a cute cat. My only regret was that a family with children stayed there during the summer, which made things a bit noisy. I'd like to stay a few more days here next time I visit Nuodeng."

"This homestay did a good job. After we booked the room, we called to tell the self-driving parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and we also intimately went underground to help us carry the suitcase up. And the location of this homestay is also very good, just on the way up the mountain not far from the parking lot, I feel that the height is very suitable. The yard of this homestay is comfortable and tidy, and the room layout is also comfortable and tidy. There is also a large platform on the second floor that can be viewed and leisurely, and it is very eye-catching and panoramic to see Nodeng Mei. This is also a stop on the journey of life worth experiencing at home."

Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling on business.

"Facilities: After all, the hotel is more than ten years old, and many facilities cannot keep up with modern hotels. Hygiene: Average hygiene. There was a hair of an unknown person in the sink when I checked in. Environment: It is pretty good in Yunlong Service: The service is average. It's so hot in Yunlong, but the air conditioner can only be turned on at 7 o'clock. It's terrible. It's the first time I stayed in a hotel where the corridors were not lit. They had to be turned on at night. The lighting on the floor was not good. The corridors were dark. I was impressed If old-fashioned hotels are complacent and don't make progress, they will only be washed up on the beach by the waves. This is the only hotel I stayed in during my trip that required a deposit and room inspection. It's 2024 now. I hope hotels can keep up with the times and not be the remnants of the old times."

"Returning to Guangdong from Deqin Motorcycle Tour, I didn’t have the chance to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in Meili this time☹️. With some regrets, I navigated to Nuodeng and chose the highly rated Hemerocallis Lodge. The overall accommodation experience was very good. This was my motorcycle trip. The most restful night of sleep😀. Before I left, I happened to see swallows flying between the eaves of the small courtyard. It turned out that the little ones chose to build their nests on the wooden beams of the small courtyard. Haha, I was lucky to have this small courtyard. There were swallows. Come, good omen✌! Well, I can sort out the regrets caused by Meili’s clouds😄. When writing this review, I should also plan when to come to Hemerocallis House to see the Yanzi family and add some blessings😎."

Hotel near Nuodeng Ancient Town,Yunlong
Finally, I came to Nuodeng, which I had been thinking about for a long time, and stayed in this homestay hidden halfway up the mountain! As soon as I came in, I was shocked - in the distance was the wonder of ”Tai Chi Locking Water” surrounded by clouds and mist, and in the near distance, the layers of green tile roofs and stone roads were like a living landscape painting. The boss handed over a cup of hot wild green tea, which instantly dispelled the coolness in the mountains. The room was clean and warm. The most surprising thing was the smart toilet, and there was plenty of hot water (I thought the conditions in the mountains would be very difficult). The boss would also take the initiative to go down the mountain to help carry the boxes, which was very enthusiastic! 🥰The dinner must be praised! I ordered the native chicken stewed with ham with the boss in advance. The free-range chicken and three-year-old Nuodeng ham were used. After taking a sip, the salty and fresh aroma rushed straight to my head. The ham floated brightly on the golden soup surface, and the chicken was stewed crispy but not dry. Even my usually picky parents drank three bowls of soup! Auntie also gave me her own pork with preserved vegetables, which was so delicious! The steps up the mountain are a bit steep. If you have difficulty walking, you can contact the owner in advance to help you carry your luggage. If you are tired of the commercialized ancient town, this is a treasure. The scenery is breathtaking, the people are warm to the heart, and the food is unforgettable - Nuodeng's ham and people's hearts are ”the taste of time fermentation”

"In the natural surroundings of Nuodeng, this kind of B&B is quite good, but it's not as boastful as some other reviews suggest. I suspect the owner has other interests, and the B&B is just a sideline. The entrance is also undergoing extensive renovations, and there was only one housekeeper on the day I stayed. The room was clean, but the service and homelike feeling were lacking. Nuodeng is a wonderful village worth revisiting, but it's already undergoing large-scale commercial development. I hope the ancient village can become less commercial and more rustic. Here's a photo of the Milky Way taken from his balcony on September 20th (fruit machine)."
