I booked a guesthouse in the Danxia Mountain scenic area in a rush, and it didn't disappoint! The decor was quite unique, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and provided detailed information about the scenic area's tourist routes. The room was clean and tiring, and it was a ten-minute walk to the ticket office. There were also many restaurants nearby, making dining convenient! The mattress was a bit firm, but since I was very tired from climbing Yangyuan Mountain, I slept very well and comfortably. The only downside was that the showerhead in the bathroom had water that was too hot and the water pressure wasn't high enough.

The hotel room is spacious, with a 1.8-meter king bed, a 1.5-meter bed, a chaise lounge, and a desk and chair – perfect for a family of three. The bathroom is also very large, and the overall cleanliness is excellent. The hotel itself is a bit older, so the furniture is a bit dated. The front desk service was quite good; we paid an extra 50 yuan for three breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was decent, much better than the noodle shop to the left of the hotel. That noodle shop charged 20 yuan for a bowl of beef brisket noodle soup, and there was hardly any brisket – they claimed brisket was expensive, but seriously, avoid that place. There's a washing machine and dryer on the first floor. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I've added a few photos of Danxia Mountain scenery instead.

It was originally impossible to be next to it and couldn't be on the same floor, but the little girl at the front desk arranged in the adjacent room intimately. The location is excellent—just 10 metres from the Fengcai Building, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The room was cozy, clean, and offered a nice city view. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the essential amenities. Check-in and checkout were both smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the variety of food options available nearby, along with a mini supermarket just around the corner. Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience without the frills. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers or anyone visiting the area!

Hiking all day was tiring, but the hotel's Yao-style bath was very relaxing. The hotel's facilities were excellent; they even provided body lotion, sewing kits, and all the disposable toiletries were of good quality, showing the hotel's attention to detail. If you're driving, I recommend coming during the day. There's a long road leading to the hotel, and during the day you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
